She had partially hidden herself behind Amber, hands upon the girl's shoulders as she scrutinized the navy blue haired man with narrowed e/c eyes.

"Oh? And might you be the Hilichurl Girl folks in Springvale have been talking about?" the pirate questioned.

Y/n growled then snapped, "Mitachurl! Mil Mitachurl! Yo mimi beru si, pirate!"

"She asked what you want-" Amber translated then looked at y/n, "Hey, it's okay, y/n. Captain Kaeya is a good guy."

Y/n scowled, "This Kenya man hurt other Hilichurls. He hurt Hilichurl, he is their enemy. He is Hilichurls' enemy so that makes him my enemy too, tch."

"Captain Kaeya, this is y/n. She lives with a peaceful group of Hilichurls within Dragonspine. She's a friend-" Amber began but y/n put distance between them.

"I am not friends with Bunny Girl! I am not friend of Paper or Kenya either!" y/n snapped then looked at Paimon, "Fairy creature is okay. Humans are not friends! Especially Kenya. Kenya is a snake!"

Y/n stuck her tongue out at the three people before running off, not even bothering to take the steps as she just decided to jump over the railing.

"Y-Y/n!" Amber called after the girl, preparing to run after her.

"Paimon thinks you should probably let her go." Paimon suggested, "Y/n seemed really angry and Paimon doesn't know what she'd do if she lost her temper with you."

"You're... right." Amber murmured.

"We should probably focus on the Stormterror problem for now." Aether spoke up, "Maybe y/n's family has had trouble with the dragon too and she's a little on edge about it."

Amber perked up a little, "You might be on to something, Aether! Right, let's handle Stormterror first then!"

'Bunny Girl is not friend. Bunny girl is not friend.' y/n thought to herself as she stomped in the direction she smelled grapes, 'Humans are bad. They are enemies.'

The Captain Amber had spoken of seemed vaguely familiar to y/n but she didn't feel like thinking too hard about it.

Y/n's brows raised when she spotted a familiar head of scarlet toned hair.

"Diluc!" she shouted, waving from where she stood at the top of the hill.

'What of Diluc then? Nye... Diluc is not like humans. He is one of them but he does not seem like one to me.' y/n thought as she ran down the hill to meet her friend who had been walking along the path leading to one of the many temples that were scattered across Mondstadt.

"You seem chipper today." the male hummed as y/n slowed to a trot so she could walk alongside her, "Something good happen?"

"Nope! Today was the shittiest of shitty days ever!" y/n replied with a forced smile.

Diluc shook his head, "How is it that the only time you speak properly, you're cursing?"
