You could tell Aether was unhappy just from looking at his face, honestly.

Y/n had been spending for more time with Teppei than she had with Aether.

She could almost always be found right at the Resistance Soldier's side, talking to him with an excited expression. Y/n always looked quite happy around her new friend.

Happier than she was around Aether...

When y/n wasn't following Teppei around like a puppy, due to them being placed on missions together, y/n was with Gorou. The General seemed to have taken a liking to the rambunctious mita-girl and happily obliged when she requested(demanded) that he spar with her.

Just the other day, when Aether was searching for y/n go give her something, he found y/n and Gorou on the ground.

Gorou had y/n pinned and kept insisting that she'd lost whole the h/c haired idiot refused to accept defeat.

Aether awkwardly noped out of there, deciding to ignore screeching from Gorou when y/n freed herself and jumped on the unfortunate General's back to strangle him.

Of course, he peeked back around the corner to see the two idiots sharing a braincell laughing together, Gorou pressing a hand against y/n's face to keep her away while she swung at him.

"Let go of my face!"

"Not until you admit that you lost~"

"I didn't lose!"

Aether wasn't jealous.

"Teppei! Did you see how I blew up that ship! It went BOOM!" y/n was exclaimed as her and her new friend chilled in a tree together, "Sure, I went flying but I'm okay!"

"You're wrapped head to toe in bandages you're definitely not okay, y/n..." Teppei chuckled, "Here. The bandages over eye... you don't need them anymore, right?"

"I don't think I do." y/n murmured, "Can you take it off and check it for me?"

"Sure!"

Y/n sat there, patiently sitting still as Teppei removed the bandages and eyepatch that covered her right eye.

"There's a scar but can you see?"

"It's a little blurry but yeah!"

"Probably cause you haven't used it."

"Oh!"

Definitely not jealous.

"Kazu!" y/n exclaimed when she spotted everyone's favorite fugitive, "Look what I made!"

The mita-girl ran to Kazuha and plopped a crown of coral on his head with a, "I made this so you have to keep it now. That's an order!"

"And what if I disobeyed that order?" Kazuha questioned and y/n's eyes narrowed.

It looked like they were going to fight but rather than attacking, y/n only shrugged.

"Our friendship would be over."

"Ah, I see." Kazuha hummed then smiled, booping y/n on the nose, "I'll keep it on all day, every day for as long as I live!"

"Good!" y/n exclaimed before grabbing Kazuha by the hand, "Come with me! I have some places I wanna explore!"

Aether... wasn't jealous at all.

Ryoichi gave Aether an irritated look, noticing how upset the blond looked, "What's up with you, huh?"
