Y/n knew she wasn't supposed to put her paws on anything with alcohol in it, those were Diluc's words not hers, but technically she had adult supervision.

The mita-girl was aware that she was one or two years below the legal drinking age... and ahe knew she wasn't allowed to have alcoholic beverages without Diluc's permission and supervision but...

'It smells strong.' She thought as she stared at the bottle of the table.

The young lady glanced towards the hall where the business stuff was going on, Diluc chatting with the folks from Snezhnaya.

The only reason y/n had come was to see if the Ginger was there and she was very disappointed to see that he wasn't present.

So, she went to Adelinde and very politely asked for something to to.

Her current task was to keep an eye on the bottle of fire water that Diluc was supposed to be giving to Kaeya the next day.

Y/n was tempted to dump it out to spite the periwinkle eyed man but decided that drinking it all would be even better.

'...should I...?' she wondered then shrugged, 'Meh, it's not like I'll get in trouble for it.'

Y/n snatched the bottle off the table and struggled with the top for a little bit before finally getting it to come off.

"Upa sada...!" she murmured dunder her breath before uttering a quiet, "Unu... du... unu du...!"

Y/n, being an idiot as usual, downed the whole bottle in on go and almost choked.

"Shato... gusha..." y/n grumbled, looking disgusted as she placed the bottle right back onto the table and began marching away, "Hmph, vin not bad. Smell strong... taste bland. I want mita."

And so, seemingly unaffected by the fire water, y/n went to go raid the kitchen.

Funny how y/n can down an entire bottle and be fine while Diluc's lightweight behind was seconds away from passing out.

The party had finally ended and the young man somehow managed to maintain his composure. Now, be wanted nothing more than to just go to sleep.

Sure, he'd promised to spend some time with y/n afterwards but he really didn't think he could stay awake much longer-

Still, determined to keep his promise, Diluc somehow made it up the stairs and wandered to y/n's room.

As expected, she was there.

Y/n adorned a focused expression as she sat cross-legged on the carpet. In her hands was a book and her e/c eyes were narrowed as she tried to read.

"And the clouds... the-" y/n growled, "the clouds cov...ered... the...? Uhm..."

The mita-girl huffed and threw the book across the room with a, "FORGET IT!"

She noticed Diluc and her anger melted away at once, eyes lighting up, "Diluc!"

Y/n ran to him and threw open the door completely, "Party is over? Can we talk?"

"Yeah... it's over..." Diluc mumbled, "Can we talk tomorrow...? I'm a little tired."

"Oh? Okay!" y/n said with a nod before grabbing Diluc's hand, "Nunu! We sleep then! Come with y/n!"

Diluc simply allowed himself to be dragged over to y/n's bed. She paused to look at him expectantly before getting impatiently and kinda just shoving him.

She hopped onto the bed beside him and gave him a smile, "Goodnight!"

All y/n got in response was quiet snores.

"...?"

That was odd.

Y/n shook off her confusion and just grabbed Diluc's wrist, using his hand to pat herself on the head.

"Goodnight, y/n!" she chirped, mimicking her friend's voice before she too dozed off.

The two idiots ended up sleeping for three days straight. Lightweights.

But then again, Fire Water is no joke.

(Ayo, if you're below the legal drinking age, don't drink. If your parents give you permission to try a little, try it and be done. Don't go out and buy it)

(Don't give into peer pressure either! You'll only get yourself in trouble!)

(Trust me, alcohol isn't even good. I took a small sip and it was nasty-)
