Aether already knew y/n was weird so he didn't question the fact that she was trying to eat her pyro vision.

In fact, he was going to pretend that he didn't see her trying to eat the thing.

Did she even have a gag reflex????

The answer is no.

Ahem, the trio had gone to Atsuko to learn more about Inazuma. So while y/n was trying to see if she could eat her vision, Atsuko had been talking.

"If you guys are really set on going, there's one thing you could try..." Atsuko was saying as Aether finally managed to draw his attention away from y/n.

"Uh... the raft idea sounds really dangerous. Besides, Paimon and y/n would get seasick!" Paimon said quickly.

"That's not what I meant. You could ask someone from The Crux Fleet if they have some way of getting you to Inazuma." Atsuko suggested, "Voyaging far and wide has made them a well-traveled group with a wide range of experiences. They may know how to break through the storm."

"The Crux?" y/n chirped, the familiar name coaching her attention, "Yes! Let's go to them! Miss Beidou can definitely help us! Where are they now?"

"They're currently anchored by Guyun Stone Forest. I suggest that you hurry?" Atsuko replied and y/n nodded.

"Got it! Tomo!" y/n chirped, grabbing Aether's hand and dragging him along again.

"Hold on, y/n! Wait for Paimon!" Paimon shouted, "Does she not have an off button???"

No.

Y/n made them an ice bridge with that glove she refuses to let go of so the trip was fairly short. She froze a couple fish on the way but was sure to grab them so the extra food wouldn't go to waste.

They got to the boat in no time, y/n actually throwing Aether up the side of the boat and climbing after him.

Nobody questioned the fact that two people just climbed up and onto their boat with no invitation or anything.

"Beidouuuu!" y/n exclaimed, running to the woman and giving her a bear hug.

"Y/n? How'd you get here?" Beidou laughed, amused by y/n's affectionate behavior, "Last time I checked, you couldn't swim!"

"Hey! I can swim!" y/n protested then rested her hands on her hips with a proud expression, "I can doggy paddle."

"Well, that's something. At least you can move around in the water now." Beidou chuckled, patting a very happy y/n as Aether and Paimon approached, "Oh? And who've we got here? You're that Traveler who fought Osial and the Fatui, right?"

"Oh yeah! Miss Beidou, this is Aether! I'm his travel buddy! And this is Paimon, our other travel buddy and guide!" y/n chimed, letting go of Beidou so she could stand beside Aether again.

"Ah, Ningguang told me about you." Beidou said as y/n caught a whiff of something yummy, "A traveler of great insight and remarkable skill has saved Liyue, she said. Ningguang is a hard one to please do praise from her is high praise indeed. I remember thinking that it'd be nice to meet you in person. Telling from the clothes on your back and the floating thing beside you, that time has come."

"Hey! Paimon isn't a floating thing!" Paimon snapped, crossing her arms, "Paimon's name is Paimon!"

"But you do float-" Aether pointed out.
