"Where tf is the Slime?"

Aether almost pissed himself when y/n popped up beside him. SHE WASNT THERE FIVE SECONDS AGO, HOW???

Aether and Paimon had retruned to the Teahouse after the blond basically went on a date with Ayaka and watched fireworks with Yoimiya.

He had no idea where she'd been but he figured she'd gotten into a fight.

The idiot had pit back on her hilichurl clothes after begrudgingly letting Fintan wash them along with her cloak.

Her side was visible again, allowing Aether to see some bandages covering a wound that was definitely still bleeding.

He wasn't surprised.

Fights were inevitable.

"Wasn't he with you last?" Aether asked.

Y/n nodded, "Yeah but he disappeared."

Taroumaru began to bark and y/n looked at the dog, her brows raised.

She wandered over, "What was that?"

The dog barked even more and y/n nodded as though she understood it.

"Is Paimon just seeing things or is y/n talking to the dog?" Paimon whispered to Aether.

"She's talking to him." Aether sighed.

"Oh, I see. Continue." y/n hummed.

As y/n was listening to the dog, Ayaka entered the Teahouse, "Ah! Aether, Paimon, y/n! Have any of you seen Thoma?"

"No, we were wondering where he was!" Paimon answered answered a shrug.

"Then it is as I feared..." Ayaka murmured, "I overheard some people saying that Thoma had been taken by the Tenryou Commission but I didn't want to believe it was true. I came here to see if I could find him but it seems as though he was really taken."

Y/n glanced at the trio, "That ceremony the Tenryou Commission was preparing. It was likely for the 100th Vision Ceremony."

"Wait, so that means...!" Paimon began.

"His Vision will be taken!" Aether finished and y/n nodded, face grim.

"I can't allow that to happen! I have to go rescue him!" Ayaka exclaimed, turning to leave only for y/n to grab her by the wrist in order to stop her.

"Nye. You can't. If you interfere, you'll get a lot of people from the Yashiro Commission in trouble." y/n said with a shake of her head, "We'll go instead."

"No, you're staying here." Aether said sharply and y/n gave him a bewildered look.

"What!? Why!?"

"You can't even fight a Harbinger without nearly getting yourself killed!"

Y/n scowled, "I don't need to use the stupid Delusion then! I'll just use my axe!"

"No. Stay here." Aether ordered as him and Paimon headed for the door, "I'll buy you food when we return!"

"But-" y/n began, falling silent when her two travel partners left the Teahouse.

Y/n's hands balled up into fists, a frustrated expression on her face, "Food isn't as important to me as you guys are.... I wanna help..."
