"You choke on dango and the first thing you ask me when you get here is that???"

Eira looked like she wanted to laugh but she kept her cool, happily sipping her fifteenth cup of hot chocolate for the day.

Y/n, who had indeed choked on dango, nodded, "Yeah. I'm curious. We do look a lot like each other but my eyes aren't like yours."

"Heh, they used to to you were little." Eira chirped, "I got rid of em though."

"DALA?" y/n cried.

"Yep yep!" Eira gave her daughter a devious grin, "I ripped em out and replaced them with fake ones!"

Y/n instinctively leaned away, eyes wide like a cat's but scowled when her mother burst into hysterical laughter.

"I'm joking! I'm joking!" Eira snickered, "Eventually it kinda just went away. Y'know, your eyes used to be a really light color when you were born. They just changed as you got older, that's all."

"So... you didn't remove my eyes?" y/n questioned and her mother shook her head.

"Nah." Eira chuckled, "You goofball."

Y/n glanced down at the cup of hot chocolate in her hands, "...when am I gonna wake up?"

"No idea. Usually after someone chokes on food, they'll die or just be out for a little while." Eira said dismissively, "No worries though, you're technically a God now so choking on food is nothing."

"I'm a wha-"

"You ate a Gnosis, y/n, you're a God until you get rid of it you tiny menace."

Y/n sat there, the pieces slowly coming together as she thought about it for a second.

"Binch, I'm a God-"

And she woke up.

The first thing she heard/saw upon waking up was her dear blondie.

Plus the Slime.

"IS SHE DEAD!?" Ryoichi was shrieking at the top of his lungs, "IF SHE'S DEAD, I SWEAR, YOU'RE NEXT AETHER!"

"HUH!? WHAT DID I DO!?"

"IF YOUR WEAK BEHIND DIDNT PASS OUT, I COULD'VE GONE AFTER HER AND SHE WOULDN'T BE DEAD!!!"

"BUT SHE'S NOT DEAD!!"

"WELL SHE ISN'T BREATHING-"

"THEN ILL GIVE HER CPR!"

"Wait, no!" Both Ryoichi and Thoma reached for Aether to stop him but nope.

Y/n tried to get up to show that she was indeed alive but only ended up tripping Aether.

"Aether, I-"

Y/n didn't get to finish her sentence, the blond hecking falling on top of her.

Before anything could happen, Ryoichi saved the day but also didn't at the same time-

"Aether you bastard....!" Ryoichi roared, grabbing the boy by the ear and dragging him away from y/n, "I'll kill you!"

"Wait, wait, wait, it was an accident!" Thoma tried to defend the blond only for Ryoichi to punch Aether in the face, "Welp, there's no stopping them now."

Indeed.

"Are you alright?" Thoma asked y/n, the two of them having moved to a different room in the Komore Teahouse while Aether and Ryoichi fought.

"Mhm, I'm fine." y/n said with a nod, "Just choked on some food, that's all."

Thoma got y/n caught up on their current situation while Sayu chilling in the background.
