It was a talent show in Gotham University. And everyone were excited for the singing. Why cause Gotham's sunshine was going to confess to The Ice Prince!!!! Damian's  family didn't know any of it.
Also they were invited as Bruce himself paid for the event.

Exactly at 7:00 pm the stage's curtains opened. Damian's and and his family was sitting on the front row completely oblivious that what was gonna happen.

The song started and the  most angelic voice was heard.
