"M-Maverick?" I muttered barely able to see his face.

"Yeah, it's me."

I was so happy to see him, tears streamed down my face, "I've got a cuff key in my truck," Jax ran out of the shack.

"Hey you don't have to cry anymore, I'm here," Maverick put his hands on my cheeks, smiling.

"Alright," He reached over Maverick unlocking them as my wrist fell free. As he moved to undo the ones around my ankle he noticed all the bruises, "Kova, did Angie do this?" He asked me once he unlocked them. He rushed over taking Maverick spot looking at my neck, "These bruises around your neck... Angie couldn't have done this. Kova who else was here?"

I took a deep breath and I couldn't even get his name out of my mouth, "Archer," I said so quietly Maverick leaned in to hear it again.

"Archer was here?" I nodded, "Did he...?"

I knew what Jax was asking and simply nodded, "What'd he do?" Maverick asked.

Jax stood up pushing Maverick farther away to talk to him quietly. I watched the shock fall over his face then the anger set in, "But right now we've gotta get her home alright? We'll deal with him later."

Maverick nodded but that's when my stomach started churning again and I could feel the aching and groaning till it all came out of my mouth, "Coco?" Maverick rushed over pulling my hair back. He pulled the hair tie off his wrist wrapping my hair back in a messy bun.

"Come on," Jax nodded seeing a car pull up.

Maverick didn't even think he just picked me up like I weighed nothing to him and walked as fast as he could outside. Jax stepped on the gas pedal in order to get out of the area before pulling into a church lot a few blocks away.

Jax ran to the other side grabbed me from Maverick. On my feet, but Jax held most of my weight, "Oh my god I thought I lost you."

"I'm okay Jax,"

I heard Maverick phone dialing as he stood next to us, "Maverick, where the hell are you two?!" I heard my dad's voice.

"Um dad actually, about that..."

He handed me the phone and I put it to my ear, "Daddy?" I said quietly.

"Kova?!" I could hear how relieved he was, "Where are you guys?"

"We'll be home in a minute," Maverick noted.

"Alright I love you, both of you, now get your asses home."

Maverick grabbed a blanket that had been in the back of Jax's truck and wrapped it around my shoulder but took the keys from Jax, "I'll drive, you stay with her," He nodded.

"You sure?" Jax asked.

"Yeah."

Jax sat in the back with me keeping a tight grip around me. I tilted my head up enough to look at Jax's worried face watching the street light pass, "Hey," I startled him by putting my hand on his ribs over where the bandage was, "You okay?" I asked him.

He laughed a little, "You were the one held hostage and you ask me if I'm okay, that's funny."

"No, Jax I'm serious are you okay? How's your head?"

"I'm fine Kova," He looked down smiling.

When Jax pulled into the driveway I was already met by a sea of people my dad coming out first hugging me tightly, "I'm sorry dad," He just looked me up and down.
