Chapter 57

"You're........ A Hin-"

Before the man could finish, a bullet went straight through his head.

The man was unmoving and lifeless.

A pool of blood starts forming on the ground dripping off from the dead man's head.

Oikawa, Iwaizumi and Matsukawa were speechless.

They looked at the gun that was pointing towards the dead body.

"Kunimi........ What..... Did you do...."

Matsukawa says with a dreadful expression.

The brunette and his friend were also wearing a shocked expression as they look at the young one.

Iwaizumi snaps out from his shock and strides towards the young man and grabbed his collar.

"What the fuck?! Why did you kill him instantly! We needed him as a lead to our case!"

The black-haired man yelled as he grips the man's collar tightly, making Kunimi wince a bit.

Kunimi was silent and still.

He had to do it or else his Commander's identity would be revealed and it will only cause chaos.

Before he raised his gun, he can see his Commander about to raise his gun as well and kill the culprit.

But he sacrificed himself instead.

He then sighs and looks at the man with a bored expression.

"It was my instincts acting up......"

He said it so calmly making the black-haired man look at him with a grimacing expression.

"What?........"

The black-haired man asked with an annoyed tone in his voice.

Shoyo sighs mentally and walks towards the two.

He also took Iwaizumi's hand away and look at him in the eyes.

"You need to calm down, sir."

"What?"

"We also do not need the man anymore."

"What do you mean?....."

"The General just texted me recently, and she said that she already has a lead for this case."

It was a lie.

The General never texted or told him anything since 3 days ago.

But they do already have a lead.

But only he knows about it.

He then looks at Kunimi and his gaze softens.

Kunimi answered with it's fine but he sighs in relief secretly.

He felt a bit timid when the man suddenly grabbed his uniform's collar.

He also knew that his Commander just lied.

"What's going on here?"

A voice suddenly comes out of nowhere.

They look in the direction where the voice is and found Kentaro and the other soldiers staring at them.
