6 Years Later -

Katalina's POV -

I was battling one of the soldiers at the palace that we were staying at for some time. Klaus decided to stop here and have some fun. Through these years, I've grown. I've gotten better at sword fighting. I beat everybody who challenges me, well except my brother Klaus and father, just like my father said. I've also had my fair share of monsters through the years, but nothing I can't take care of. This certain soldier whom I was fighting, actually made a deal with me. If he beat me, then I'll have to go out with him, and if I beat him, which I obviously was going to, he would have to do what I say. We kept at it and finally I got tired of this, so I just slashed and won. "Looks like I won darling" I said with a smirk. "You may have, but I know you'll still go out with me" he then said, wiping the smirk off my face. "Confident much huh" I said lending him a hand. "Well got to make a good impression don't I" he said eyeing the palace. I chuckled, "yeah, sure". "So what about dinner tonight" he asked. "You know I won" I said raising a brow. "Well of course princess, but I'm still taking you out" he said flashing a smile. "What if I don't want to" I questioned. "Then I'll know you won't if you don't show up tonight. In the Grand Garden, the Rose section. See you, or maybe not" he said running after giving me a quick peck on the cheek. I touched my cheek and blushed.

"C'mon Rebekah, help me!! Which one looks better? The blue one or the gold one??" I asked desperately. Rebekah was in deep thought. "They both are beautiful. Let's see, the blue one will bring out your eyes more, ohhh but you look really good in gold" Rebekah replied. I sighed. Elijah then came into the room. "What are you doing?" he asked. "Which one?" I said showing him the dresses. "Umm, why?" he asked. "I'll explain later, just choose one" I said in a hurry. "You look beautiful in both" Elijah replied. I grunted, "you know what, I'll just go with the blue".

I got dressed and went to go bid a bye to my sister and brother. I hugged Rebekah and kissed Elijah's cheek. "Sister, where are you going? Aren't you going to wait for Klaus to come" he asked me with a confused look. I then turned nervously, "I think its better if Klaus doesn't know where I'm going" I said fidgeting with my necklace. "Why wouldn't you want Klaus to know?" Elijah questioned. "Brother, please stop with all the questions. I'm almost 18, I can go wherever I want without Klaus knowing" I said. He raised an eyebrow. "Look I'll explain when I get back. Bye!!" I said immediately dashing through the door.

Third Person POV -

"Katalina!!" Elijah yelled. "Leave her alone. She just went to have some fun" Rebekah told him. "Rebekah we don't know where she is going! How am I supposed to leave her alone" Elijah said with an arm out. "She'll be fine. And besides I know where she is going" Rebekah said lying on the bed. "Where?" Elijah asked Rebekah. Rebekah remained quiet. "Rebekah, I will not ask you again. Where is Katalina going?" Elijah said with a dangerous calm voice. "Can't you just relax. I will tell you later. Give her some time at least" Rebekah said annoyed. Elijah then just sat and thought about where exactly can Katalina be. About an hour later, Klaus arrived. "Alas, you show up dear brother. Maybe you can convince Rebekah of telling us Katalina's current whereabouts" Elijah said exasperated. "What do you mean Katalina's current whereabouts? She's supposed to be here" Klaus said. "Well you see brother, Katalina has gone to have "a little fun", as Rebekah puts it" Elijah said. "Can't you guys just leave her alone. You won't let me be with anyone, at least let Katalina" Rebekah said standing up. She then realized what she just said. "Rebekah, has Katalina gone out to see someone in particular?" Klaus asked. Rebekah looked at them, but stayed quiet. "Rebekah!!" Klaus raised his voice. "Fine, fine!! She has, but he's a nice person. You don't have to worry" Rebekah reassured them. "Everybody here is a scumbag" Klaus said. "Now sister, tell me exactly with who and where she is" Klaus finished. Rebekah sighed. "She..."
