Confessions Pt.1

Demetri's POV -

"Leo, where are we going?" I asked him. He brightly smiled, "We're heading towards Greece" he replied. My breath hitched, "Greece?" I repeated. He chuckled, "Yeah man, I just said that. Hey, can you get that for me?" he asked while pointing at a drink. I grabbed it and handed it to him, "Thanks Dem" he patted me on the shoulder. "Why are we going to Greece, Leo?" I asked. He finished taking a big gulp of the drink, "Well, I'm not exactly sure anymore-", "Leo, take a turn. We're going to Split, Croatia" Jason said coming in. "Will do" Leo announced. "Why are we changing directions?" I questioned. "I need to find Reyna and I also had a dream last night. Annabeth was there and...I know she's got a plan. I'm trusting that I'm doing the right thing, what she would tell me to do" he replied.

The next morning, Nico talked to us about Sciron. "Jason, if you want to find the scepter too, then you'll need my help" Nico told him. Jason cringed a little at that and I turned to see if Nico saw that. If he did or didn't, he didn't show any emotion of whether he cared or not. "I'm going too" Katalina declared, standing right next to him. He held her hand, "Great, let's go then". I raised my hand, "Wait!" I practically yelled. They all turned towards me. "I'm going too" I said, "We don't need another person" Nico glared. "He can actually help us. If we need to run away or lift something up fast, he's got the speed and strength" Jason tried to reason with Nico. Nico kept his eyes on me. "I have to admit, he is right" I heard Katalina whisper in his ear. He turned his head a little and it looked like Katalina and him had a conversation mentally. He sighed, "Fine..". "Then I guess I will be accompanying too" Alec smiled. Nico threw his hands up, "By the love of Hades!! By this point, who else wants to come?! Just say it now!" he raised his voice. Katalina took his hand and left with him outside.

"Ok Nico, hop on" Jason said while bending down a little. Nico gave him a look, "Excuse me?". "I have to fly us so we can get there faster" he said like it was the most normal thing in the world. Nico scoffed and he turned to Katalina. She gave him a weak smile and he pouted. "Wait, so how are you guys getting there?" he asked confused. I lifted Katalina up swiftly, "We'll be right behind you, but on land" I smirked. He glared and started to protest, but Jason had already shot up into the sky with him. At the same time, Alec and I ran, with Katalina in my arms, and we followed. I am the world's best Tracker, so that made it easier. Katalina wrapped her arms more securely around my neck. I let myself enjoy the feeling of having her in my arms for the short time being.

Exactly 10 seconds before Jason and Nico would land, Alec, Katalina, and I arrived. Katalina hopped right away out from my hold and hurried to Nico. He wrapped an arm around her waist and glared at both Jason and I. "You could've given me a warning" he spat at Jason. Jason blushed and he scratched the back of his neck. Nico turned his attention away from Jason and looked around. "I visited Croatia when I was 6" he whispered. Katalina looked at him and gave him a warm smile. "Where are we heading?" I asked. Nico turned to me and smirked, "Underground".

As we walked, I could hear Katalina's heart beating faster than normal. She held Nico's hand tightly and let out a nervous breath. "Are you ok?" he asked her. She lowered her voice, "I don't have a good feeling about this". "Me too" Nico agreed. "Well oh my! Its the son of Hades himself!" we heard a voice boom. We all jumped at the sudden voice and took out our weapons. A young handsome man stepped out with a grin on his face. "Favonius, how...nice to see you" Katalina forced out. He gave her a flirtatious smile, "Katalina Mikaelson, to what pleasure do I owe to see your beautiful face?". She raised an eyebrow, but she immediately faked a smile. "Well, we are looking for t-", "Ah yes! If you come looking for the scepter, I will tell you that it has been long been taken by its master" he grinned widely. Even though he was grinning like a madman, he was still able to look handsome. "Do you mean Aeolus?" Jason questioned. Nico tensed and he avoided eye contact with all of us. Katalina frowned and looked at him with worry. Favonius smirked, "I always knew you would come back and look upon Cupid's face" he directed at Nico. Katalina glared at Favonius and I noticed that Nico's hold on her hand had weakened. "What does he mean Nico?" Jason questioned. I gave him a look to drop it even though I was curious too. Nico didn't answer and he swallowed hard. "After all, the person you most cared for, before your heart beat for another person, is in Tartarus" he laughed. We all were confused at that and even Katalina seemed to not know what he was talking about. Then she looked down and realization dawned on her face. I wanted to ask her what it was, but I couldn't. "But, that isn't the case anymore isn't it? No, your hiding something more-", "Stop!!" Nico shouted. Katalina flinched at his sudden outburst. Favonius chuckled in amusement. Even though I didn't really get along with Nico, I wanted to punch the smirk off Favonius face. "I think your ready for him, all of you" he eyed us.

When he turned us into wind, I felt like puking. Which wasn't even possible because I'm technically dead. Katalina and Jason clutched their stomachs and stumbled. Nico didn't recoil, but he looked the worst. He looked more pale than usual and he didn't raise his eyes from the ground. I turned at the sound of Favonius voice, "Don't let anger rule you with Cupid, son of Hades" he said before he disappeared into the wind. Katalina, who had regained her posture, looked at Nico. He avoided her gaze and looked away. "Where are we?" Alec muttered. "Dalmatia" me and another voice answered at the same time. That voice, that voice...it sounded so melodical. I made eye contact with Katalina and we looked at each other confused. "Good guess young man! But, why would I be surprised, your a Tracker afterall" the voice said again. We all turned to look at the source of the voice and all our breaths hitched. "Wow!..." was the only thing that left my lips. Katalina had the same look on her face, but she instantly snapped out of it. "Cupid" Nico and her said at the same time. Well that explains his godly looks. I mentally slapped myself, he is a god Demetri. Cupid smiled, ""Nico di Angelo and Katalina Mikaelson. What a treat! I'll get some good confessions out of you two" he giggled. All of a sudden Jason was pushed down the stairs and Katalina was pressed up against the wall, rose gold chains keeping her captive. Nico rushed to help them and I had already started running towards Katalina, but then I couldn't move. My eyes widened, "Your a part of this show too darling, but not yet" Cupid said. I glared at him, but I could only focus on Katalina as she struggled against the chains. "Leave them alone!! The person who you want to pick on is me! Not them!!" Nico yelled at Cupid. Cupid looked at him with innocent eyes, "Tell them why you left Camp Half-Blood, why your always alone, why your afraid of yourself and your feelings!" he sneered. Ok now I was really sure I wanted to punch Cupid in the face. "You don't have to Nico" Alec gasped. Nico was in the verge of tears. "I'm not afraid anymore" he grit his teeth. Cupid rolled his eyes, "Well that's because you have her now. Tell them then why you were afraid back then!" he pushed. Nico pursed his lips and that annoyed Cupid. He tightened the chains around Katalina and she tried to hold back a scream, but failed to do so. "DON'T HURT HER!!" he screamed. Nico panted, "The reason is..the reason is, I didn't have feelings for Annabeth, I had feelings for Percy" he confessed. My eyes widened, Katalina's brother! I turned to see her reaction, but she only looked defeated. She already knew.. She was trying to protect him from saying his secret because she knows that he didn't want anybody else to know. "Now give us the scepter! You got what you wanted" Nico begged. Cupid tapped a finger on his chin, "You see, I actually haven't gotten everything. You might've confessed to that secret, but there is another that you have been hiding only recently from her" Cupid smirked. Katalina looked at him, "Stop this Cupid! Nico doesn't have anything to say to me. He has the right to keep things to himself!" she growled. Cupid observed her, "That's were your wrong little Mikaelson. He does have something to confess to you and you also have something to confess to him" he said so innocently. That was when her eyes only showed fear. "Now, who will go first? Let's see...I'll give you a break Nico, Katalina yourrrr UP!" Cupid said excitedly. "Why are you doing this?! Haven't you got enough of what you wanted!" she yelled at him. Cupid looked at his fingernails, "We can get this over with right away if you both just hurry up" he said bored. Katalina glanced at Nico, "I'm sorry Nico. I never meant this to happen" she uttered. He was confused and scared of what she was going to say. I wanted to scream at her to not say anything. I could see how scared she was and I just hoped that what she was going to tell him isn't too bad. "I, I.." she couldn't say it. "Say it" Cupid told her while leaning closer to the pair. "Tell him who has invaded your heart, your thoughts, your feelings!" he urged with so much excitement. Katalina raised her eyes to me...

"I have feelings for Demetri"

Everything seemed to freeze and everyone was silent. A tear slipped down Nico's cheek. "Silly girl! You don't just have feelings for him, you-"

"I love Demetri!!" she screamed.
