Chapter 31: The Turnabout of Plunders!

(Apollo's turn to take to the court and find the truth behind the case! Still kind of odd that Dual Destinies never referenced his backstory, but then again, he has three. Anyway, I actually like wanted to include Vera somehow, but there was nothing I could really do about it. I was pretty happy that I could include her in the bonus chapter. She's so precious! Enjoy!)

(Apollo's POV)

District Courthouse, Courtroom Number 4

August 4th, 9:00 AM

                You know, after hearing that one of my friends is standing against me in court is something I didn't expect entirely. I thought I would tackle fewer spiritual cases, but instead, I'm tackling cases that seemed to be insane.

"Polly!" Trucy shouted seriously as I looked down at the small girl.

"Ah! Sorry, Trucy. I was lost in my thoughts. Are you ok? Actually, what are you doing here?" I asked her curiously.

She should be in school. Unless Mr. Wright gave her the day off, so she could watch the trial. Well, she is the victim of the case. I guess that makes sense. Wait a minute, speaking of my boss, where is he?!

"Daddy said he had a meeting with Uncle Edgeworth. Since Maka and Kay are at school, you have to take care of me!" she said in delight.

Of course, I do. It makes sense that Mr. Wright would have me babysit during a trial. I think.

"Alright, are you ready to stand in court with me?" I asked her with a smile.

"Yep! Daddy told me what I had to do! Help you out in court!" she said in delight as she stood tall with her hands on her hips.

Ok, that's adorable. Alright, I've done my Chords of Steel exercise and I've got my evidence. Now, get ready because here comes Justice!

"Apollo! Didja forget about me?! Rude!" Wocky shouted as I jumped at him.

I really hope he didn't bring his gun with him! This is a courtroom!

"Yes, I'm ready to defend the two of you in court! Just take your seat in the courtroom! And don't shout or yell or use any dangerous firearms!" I said loudly and quickly at him.

"Got it. Thanks for doing this! After this, let's get a bite to eat! My treat!" he said with a proud smile.

Somehow, I feel like that bite to eat might be dangerous.

"Awesome! Let's have noodles then!" Trucy shouted eagerly.

Wocky looked at her in a surprised manner. He then kneeled before her and grinned.

"Ya like noodles? Ok! Then after this, let's have a giant noodle party!" he said with a wide smile.

"Really?! Yay! Polly! We've got to win this trial and then have noodles!" she said with serious expression that it looked like she was pouting.

I smiled as I reassured them, "Don't worry, I'll make sure to find the truth and bring this case to light! Now, let's get to the trial!"

District Courthouse, Courtroom Number 4

August 4th, 9:15 AM

"Court is now in session for a theft case. Are both sides ready?" the Judge asked seriously.

"The prosecution is always ready to rock, Herr Judge" Prosecutor Gavin said with a smile.

"The defense is ready, your honor" I said seriously.

Ok, you've got this. This is your first case by yourself, but you learned a lot from Mr. Wright and Makoto. You've got this!

"The theft occurred two nights ago. The item in question that was stolen is a pair of magical panties that the defendant owns" the prosecution began, "However, the thief in question also wrecked the office of the famous, Wright Anything Agency. Though, I have yet to visit it in its prime state. Along the way, it appears that the thief had left a pathway of destruction which led to the thief of Wocky Kitaki's bracelet"
