Nagpatuloy na kami sa paglalakad. He gave his key to the valet bago kami tuluyan na pumasok sa loob. Nang makaupo na kami at dumating ang order ay nagsimula na naman kaming kumain.

"How's school?" he asked.

I emptied my mouth and wiped my lips before answering him. "It's a bit busy. Finals is coming and then we're having our break na."

He nodded. "Where do you want to spend your vacation?"

I pouted and shook my head. "I don't want to spend it alone."

His brow shot up. "Scarlett will go to states same as Hazel. So basically, I don't have someone with me."

"Then what am I doing here, Azalea?"

My eyes widened. "You're saying that you'll spend vacation with me?" I asked excitedly.

"Ayaw mo?"

"Of course, I'd love to!" sagot ko agad at biglang nahiya. I saw a ghost of his smile and smirked at what I've said.

Azalea! Mukha ka tuloy sabik na sabik laging makasama siya. Para kang bata na laging excited sa tuwing may sasabihin siya na hindi mo inaasahan!

"Good. I'll set our vacation, just tell me where do you want us to go."

"But you have work." paalala ko sakanya.

"A week or two away from work can't make the sales of the company decrease." he explained as if it's no big deal.

"Okay." I answered.

The dessert was served and I it's really mouthwatering. Busog na ako pero parang bigla akong nagutom ulit.

The strawberry cake looks delicious plus the fact that it's my favorite. Nag-angat ako ng tingin sa waiter.

"Is this one of your best seller?" I asked.

He smiled and nodded. "Yes po, ma'am. It's a strawberry shortcake."

"Really? I'll have a taste of this." I said and picked the spoon.

Nang matikman ko ay agad akong ngumiti at tumingin sakanya. "This tastes so good."

"Glad to hear that, ma'am. Enjoy the food." he said.

Napalingon kami kay Hayes nang tumikhim siya. Malalim na titig ang ginawa niya sa waiter kaya napalunok ako. Galit nanaman?

"You may go." he dangerously said to the waiter. Umalis naman iyon agad at tumingin na siya sakin.

"You can actually ask me about it. Why did you have to smile at him like that?" irita niyang sabi sa akin.

"Nagtanong lang naman ako. Ano bang masama?" taka kong tanong.

"He's fucking looking at your cleavage." aniya at sinulyapan din ang dibdib ko.

"I-It's just a cleavage. He can't touch it anyway." lakas loob kong sabi dahil kanina pa siya talaga may problema sa akin.

He became more irritated and whispered some curses. Hindi ko nalang siya pinansin at masayang inubos ang shortcake ko. Tumingin ako kay Hayes na pinagmamasdan pala ako sa ginagawa ko.

"Hayes.." tawag ko sakanya.

"Hmm?"

"Can we order a box of this cake? I really love it."

He nodded and called the waiter to say my request. Sana pwede. Nang matapos silang mag-usap ay lumingon na sa akin si Hayes.

"They'll bring the cake after a few minutes."
