Chapter 10

I was swimming in those green deep eyes. She was light like a feather. I have never seen such a beautiful and innocent face. I wanted to kiss her deeply, I wanted to make her mine. I was snapped out of my thoughts when she mumbled, ''I am okay. you can put me down now.'' I don't want to let her go...
My heart was racing so fast that it felt as if it will pop out anytime !!
I gently put her down and she clutched my shoulder to regain her balance that's when a current ran through my body, I felt millions of butterflies in my stomach.
Why ?? Why do I feel like this ?!

My stomach twisted into a knot and suddenly I realized what had just happened. It's my freaking office and what am I doing !! If anybody would have seen us like that then both of us will be DEAD.
  I went and sat in my seat while Camila followed be and mumbled a Thank You.
The rest of the day went working. I buried myself in work so that I don't have to talk to her or think about what had happened. Finally it was the departure time.

Ryan !! You have to ask about the dinner. Will she say yes ?? It's okay if she doesn't. I can understand, after all these things that have happened in the past few hours and yesterday why would she even look at me ?? But you can atleast ask her. You can do it Ryan, go ahead.

I turned towards her and asked her as she was packing her things, ''I just wanted to ask if you would like to join us for dinner tomorrow, only if you are okay with that.''
  
A spark lit up in her green eyes and she smiled ear to ear and said, ''Yes of course I just wanted this...I mean I wanted to meet your family.''

Why is she so happy and excited about meeting my family ? Maybe it's because she doesn't have a family and really wants to see our bonding. Mom and Dad will be very happy to see her, they always wanted daughters but instead I was born. It's not like they don't love me, it's just about their preference Me and Cathy are their world !!

''But you also have to go shopping tomorrow with Erica and Stella so would you be able to manage ??''

''Yeah, we are going for that directly from the office so that's not an issue.''

''Okay then see you tomorrow''

Saying this we both went on to our ways for home. As I entered my house I saw Mom working in the kitchen and Dad was helping Cathy with her Homework, well it's my job but sometimes Dad enjoys doing it. I quickly went up to my room got fresh and got down to have dinner. Mom had made Cathy's favorite dishes so she was of course very elated.

I have to tell mom about Camila coming over for dinner tomorrow. So I started, ''Mom I have invited one of my friend over for dinner tomorrow, I don't think you will mind if she comes.''

Catherine's lips pulled out into a wide smile and she said, ''Bro what ?? Your friends is a she ?? You never call anyone for dinner let alone a ''she'', except for Erica that too it's only when Josh comes over for dinner with us.''

Dad asked biting back a smile, ''Who is she ?? Stella or Erica ?? I doubt if it's any of them.''

Mom was still silent but I can see she was smiling she said, ''Yeah of course it's alright, I am infact happy about it, so what's her name Ryan ?''

Why are they so happy ?? It's like they are meeting their daughter-in-law. They are smirking at me !! What is wrong with my family . Oh Man !! Look at this little monster Catherine, she started all this. Devil!!

I said, ''Her name is Camila Walker she is the new Business Analysts and she works with me as my partner, no need to be this happy and don't plant hopes I just met her yesterday.''

Dad said, ''Hmmm. I see. You never call anyone you just met yesterday and I have been through this Son when I met your Mom.''

''Whatever'' I said and left the table as I had completed my dinner.
They all broke out in a laughter as soon as I turned back !! Seriously ???????

Mom agreed and it wasn't like she wouldn't have agreed she never says ''No'' for these things.
