Chapter 21 /// Part 1

"Oh hey, Dina. You good?" Billie heard Levi ask as they entered the hallway of the apartment complex. Turning around she narrowed her eyes at her girlfriend smiling at some chick she hasn't met yet. Which Billie takes as someone who is gonna try and hit on her girl.

"Hey Levi. I'm good, sweetie. You?" The woman, Dina, responded with a bright smile. Billie had to contain a snarl when she saw the newcomer look her girlfriend up and down.

"Why's she gotta look so good in shorts and a Tee, though." Billie whispered to herself, getting frustrated as the pairs conversation continued and her girlfriend seemed none the wiser to the girls advances.

"I know, sorry about him, I think it was a full moon or something because he wouldn't stop howling. If he starts tonight i'll give him a stern talking to." Billie tuned back in to hear Levi say.

Dina broke out in a laugh and reached out to touch her hand to Levi's arm. Billie rolled her eyes. She's not that funny, chill. After a few more moments she had had enough of her girlfriend being the most oblivious person in the whole world, so she made her way over to them, keys to her car dangling from her fingers.

"Oh no don't worry about-"

"Hey baby. You ready? The store will close soon." She said as she approached the too.

"Hey, yeah sorry, I was just apologising to Dina for Odin's howling the other night, she lives above us." Levi said. "Dina, this is my girlfriend, Billie."

"I know, so nice to meet you." The female smiled, eyes lingering on Billie's hand which was looped around Levi's forearm.

"You too." Billie said with a slight smile, thankful she's got a mask on so Neither of the girls in front of her can see how sarcastic it is. Levi looked down to where Billie had hold of her arm, getting the hint to leave when Billie patted her hand a few times.

"We better go anyways. Nice seeing you, Dina."

Dina smiled and made a dramatic (in billie's opinion) show of biting her bottom lip. "You too. I'll drop of some apple pie when I make it next, ok?"

Billie pulled Levi away before her over friendly girlfriend could push her luck more. "I'll drop of some apple pie ok" Billie mimicked as the two walked through the garage door and towards Dragon.

"Ah! Stop." Billie said as Levi went to open the passenger door.

"Huh?"

Billie reached into the car and grabbed a bottle of hand sanitizer from the glove compartment and throwing it at Levi. "Decontaminate your arms. Don't know where she's been." Levi stared her girlfriend in the eyes for a few beats to see if the girl was serious. "Do it." Billie demanded. Levi decided just to comply with the girls wishes to try and save herself getting the earful which was more than likely coming. She squirted some of the gel onto her arms and tossed it back to Billie before rubbing it in her skin, already dreading how much it'll dry her skin out.

The pair got in the black car and started their drive to the local store in silence. "What's up?" Levi asked despite being well aware her girlfriends jealousy is currently getting the better of her.

"Nothing."

"Bil, c'mon, what's wrong?"

"I'm fine." Levi rolled her eyes. Girlfriend rule number one: if a girl says 'I'm fine' she is in fact, not fine.

Deciding to just let her girlfriend sulk for a bit, Levi just nodded before turning and looking out the window till the pair pulled into the stores parking lot.

"Are you staying in the car or coming in?" Levi checked, knowing they only needed a small handful of food.

"Nah. I'm gonna stay in the car." Billie replied as she pulled her phone out without giving Levi a second look.
