"Are we just going to ignore the fact that the Mr. Cyclops is attacking us?"

"Yep!"

Teucer and y/n were chilling in a tree, enjoying grape juice while they watched a Ruin Guard try and fail to kill them with missiles.

Everytime it fired at them, y/n would use her cryo delusion, creating missiles of her own made of ice so that they wouldn't get hit.

"How long are we gonna stay up here?" y/n inquired, looking at the freckled child.

"Until it gives up." Teucer replied then looked at her with bright eyes, "Unless you're gonna fight it. Are you?"

"I mean, I can..." y/n murmured, "Pyro or Cryo, I'll let you decide this time."

"Hm..." Teucer looked thoughtful before nodding, "Cryo. It makes you look cool."

Y/n's eyes widened, "Pyro isn't cool?"

The little boy panicked a little as the h/c haired female beside him began to tear up, "No, no, Pyro is cool! But I wanna see I how well you can use your second element!"

Y/n had screwed up earlier, using the cryo delusion she possessed to make a slide for the duo so they could get to their destination faster. Neither of them felt like walking. When Teucer asked her about it, she panicked and said she had a second element.

He believed her.

And y/n felt like a jerk for lying to him.

"Haha yeah... my second element..." y/n echoed, dying on the inside, "Okay then."

'MY HEART IS SPLITTING IN TWOOOO!' y/n wailed internally as she created a spear of ice, standing while Teucer watched on with sparkling eyes, 'LYING IS HORRIBLE! I HATE IT BUT IT'S THE EASIEST WAY OUT OF THESE TYPES OF SITUATIONS! NOT ONLY THAT BUT MOST PEOPLE I RESPECT LIE!'

Y/n hopped off the branch, the ruin guard looking up in time for her to stab it right in the weak spot, the ice crashing straight through whatever was used to guard the ruin guard's eye.

'The shortie lies, the ginger lies, the snake lies, the old man lies-' y/n thought as the ruin guard collapsed. She released the ice spear, shaking her cold hand to get rid of the icy feeling.

"Oooo, you did it!" Teucer gasped and y/n beamed, clearly proud of herself.

"Of course I did!" she chirped then scowled, "Wait a minute! You never did tell me how you ended up here in Liyue! You've got some explaining to do, Freckles!"

Teucer gave the fuming y/n a cheeky smile, "I have no idea what you're talking about!"

"Sometimes the similarity between you and your brother scares me..." y/n murmured then shook her head, "Don't tell me you walked all the way from Snezhnaya to here!"

"I didn't!"

Y/n exhaled in relief.

"I took a boat!"

"You took a boat!? By yourself!?" y/n cried as the boy climbed down from his spot in the tree, giving y/n an innocent look.

"Yeah, is that a bad thing?" he inquired.

Y/n inhaled sharply then turned away, letting out a frustrated, "BIADAM!"

"What does that mean?"

"Nothing, nothing."

Y/n sat the ruin guard up against a tree so her and Teucer could look at it.

They stared in silence at the motionless being of metal before Teucer spoke up.

"Hey, y/n?"

"Mhm?"

"Do you know how to fix it?"

"...maybe."

She knew how to fix it.

She knew exactly how to fix it.

She couldn't put into words exactly how she knew but the result was amazing.

"WEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

"MOVE BISH, GET OUT THE WAY!"

Y/n and Teucer clung to the Ruin Guard as it charges forwards, moving scarily faster than usual. A couple of Millelith spotted them and panicked at the sight of the ruin guard running at them.

They dove out the way to avoid being trampled or slapped at Teucer continued to cheer while y/n yelled profanities at people in the way.

Y/n was supposed to be babysitting Teucer until she could find a way to get him back to Snezhnaya or find Childe but she really just ended up leaving a trail of chaos the entire time.

Eh, who really cares.

It's not like her actions had consequences.

"Aha! So you're the ones who were riding around on a rampaging ruig-eh??? Y/n?"

Y/n was helping Teucer down from the top of the ruin guard's head when familiar voice exclaimed her name.

Y/n looked back to see Aether and Paimon then beamed happily, "Yo! Paimon, Aether! Good to see you!"

"You know them?" Teucer inquired as y/n set him down and she nodded.

"I do! They're my friends!" y/n chirped as the duo made their way over.

"Hello!" Teucer greeted, "I'm Teucer! Y/n's future brother in law!"

Y/n looked about ready to die of embarrassment while Paimon looked curious.

"HSHSIJS, DONT SAY THAT-!" she protested, earning a grin from Teucer.

"Ohhh, so this is who you were talking about..." Aether said then shook his head, "Wait a minute, brother in law?"

(Haha, you were jealous of a kid!)

"Uh-huh! Y/n is gonna marry my big brother!" Teucer declared while y/n's soul left her body, "When they do, I'll get to spend more time with y/n! And she promised to bring a ton of Mr. Cyclopses for me to see!"

"Gonna marry his big brother, huh?" Paimon teased, looking towards y/n then panicked when she fainted, "H-Hey! Don't pass out! Wake up, Hilichurl girl!"
