Year: 6 (pretend Draco is a death eater and Cedric didn't die)

Plot: Yn and Draco hated each other. Draco is assigned the task of tutoring Yn in potions, it being her worst subject. Well spending all that time together they began to realize why they actually hate each other

Yn's Pov
Draco Bloody Malfoy. That name makes my blood boil. We've always been at each other throats. Our families have very different views on the wizarding world.  The Malfoy's see muggles and muggle-borns as dirt on the ground where as mine believe is equality. Once Snape told me I'd be needing a tutor Malfoy was the last person I'd expect to see sitting at the table waiting. I looked around for anyone else but Draco was the only one in our year. I made my way over "Are you meant to be my tutor" I asked blankly. He looked up and rolled his eyes "Trust me I'm not happy about it either Yl. Now just sit down so we can get this done" he snapped. I sat across from him and took out my books.

Draco's Pov
Of all people I have to tutor Yn. No wonder though she's not the brightest person. Her pure blood respected family doesn't believe in supremacy which is totally bonkers. So far tutoring hasn't been awful. She's understanding the potions and there laws. Well she was reading over a potion description I couldn't help but admire her features. The way her Hc hair brushed over face. The way her mouth would slightly move as she read in her head. She truly was beautiful. Merlin what am I saying she's the enemy. But why does the enemy have to be so pretty. Just as she finished Cedric Diggory came walking over. "Hey Yn. I don't me to interrupt or anything but I was wondering if you'd want to hang out after your done of course" Diggory asked. I slight rosy coloured appeared over Yn face "Yea sure Cedric. I'll meet you in the court yard" she smiled towards him. He return the smile then left. I couldn't help but feel jealous. "You he's not all that" I mumble

Yn's Pov
"You know he's not all that" Draco mumbled "What did you say" I ask "Nothing never mind let's get back..." before he could finish Pansy Parkinson's came over smiling "Draco. Could you help me with something. It's really important" she semi-flirted. I got the strangles feeling in my stomach. It was jealousy "Yea sure whatever Pansy. I'll meet you back at the common to once I'm done here" Draco said pretty emotionless "Great see you there" then she kissed his cheek then she left. Now my blood boiled for a different reason. That mad me really upset. "I didn't know you two were dating" I say looking back at the text "What. Me and Pansy. No way. I mean she's my friend yeah and she flirts all the time but I don't see her that way. Actually I think I see someone else like that" Draco confesses. "Oh really who" I ask now interested "None of your business Yn. You know what let's stop here for today. I gotta meet up with Pansy and you got or date with Cedric" he got upset now. He gathered his things and left. What an ass. All I asked was one question.

I couldn't shake the feeling Pansy kissing Draco's cheek made me feel. Sick to my stomach. I walked in the court yard to see Cedric with his friends. He waved me over. "Hey Yn" he slung his arm around me "Hi Ced" I smiled. His friend gave us some  odd looks then left. "So was there something you needed" I asked him he laughed and les me over to a bench "No no. I just wanted to hang out with you. Your a pretty cool girl Yn. Emphasis on the pretty" he flirted. I couldn't control the blush on my cheeks. But all I could think was how those words would sound coming out of Draco's mouth. Merlin, no. I've got a crush on Draco Malfoy. "Thank you Cedric" I said. We talked for a bit our hand at some pint interlocked. Then I heard laughing. I looked over my shoulder to see Draco and Pansy holding hands. It broke my heart to see Draco and Pansy together like that.

Draco's Pov
I did t mean to flip out on Yn. It just happened. I wanted to see if I could make her jealous since I apparently have a crush on her and she made me feel that way with Cedric. So I flirted back with Pansy and asked if we could hang out on the courtyard knowing that where Cedric and Yn would be. Well we were walking I took hold on Pansy's hand. She snuggled up to me. When we got outside I saw Cedric holding Yn hand. They looked happy. Yn looked over to us and her smiling face fell for a moment. Pansy was rambling on about something I just kept my focus on Yn. Whose attention was back on Cedric.  I couldn't do it anymore. I need to talk to Yn. Dinner was ready and I had an idea.

At dinner...
Well everyone gathered for dinner I looked for Yn and found her. I graded her hand and pulled her away from the coward. "Draco what the..." I cut her off by kissing her. At first she didn't return it but then she did. I brought my hand to her face. She pulled away I kept my hand on her face as our forehead pressed against each other "Draco..." she breathed out "I'm sorry Yn. But I just had to" I tell her soulfully "I liked it" she smiled. I stepped back and looked at her "Really" I say shocked she nodded. "I really thought I hated you but guess it was the opposite" she laughed and so did I "Yeah I guess it was" I step back closer and kissed her cheek "Now what" she asked "Well we could go and eat dinner and pretend like this didn't happen or we could go down to the common room and do it a bit more" I offered "I've got a better idea. Let go eat dinner *she grabbed my hand* and make Pansy jealous as hell" she smiled "And Cedric" I said. I can't believe I'm with the girl I've always hated.
