I sat on the edge of my bed, tapping my toes ever so slightly on the floor as I read the paragraphs of the book in my hands.

My fingertips gradually feeling the fine texture of the decade old book, the smell of paper wavering through my senses.

I've always been a fan of romance books. The way the protagonists love story tugs on your heartstrings, and you'd just wish that you had a similar love story as theirs.

Love is a powerful emotion. Throughout history couples in love have caused wars and controversy.

Created masterpieces in writing, music, and art, and have captured the hearts of the public with the power of their bonds.

It blows my mind everytime I read these love stories, especially this particular one.

Brilliant to look upon and to listen to, with the power to subjugate everyone." That was the description of Cleopatra, queen of Egypt.

She could have had anything or anyone she wanted, but she fell passionately in love with the Roman General Mark Antony. As Shakespeare depicts it, their relationship was volatile.

"Fool! Don't you see now that I could have poisoned you a hundred times had I been able to live without you," Cleopatra said.

but after they risked all in a war on Rome and lost, they chose to die together in 30 BC.

"I will be a bridegroom in my death, and run into it as to a lover's bed," said Antony. And Cleopatra followed, by clasping a poisonous asp to her breast.

Sure this story is quite cliche, it's a tale as old as time, a classic love story.

I then proceed to read, rolling on my bed as my eyes were glued to the pages of the book. The story seemed to have me mesmerized that I couldn't keep my gaze off of them.

The wind started getting a bit stronger, but I payed no heed to it. Then, I heard this faint thud coming from my balcony.

My gaze suddenly averted with the book, my head shot up as I see this familiar silhouette towering my form. A small smile coming up my lips as I see the familiar silhouette coming closer.

"Oh no, a crook." I sneered, my (e/c) eyes wide as saucers as I see Viperions gaze on me. His hands were crossed and his eyes were lingering with bemusement.

"Don't worry, I'm only here to steal your heart." He then retorts, and then de-transformed infront of me, turning back to that goofy looking weirdo I absolutely love.

I rolled my eyes at him. "You already stole my heart you goof."

He sat on the edge of my bed, his eyes never leaving my form. They seemed to look more luminating and endearing at night, leaving my legs feel like jelly.

"Well then, I guess I'll just steal your attention." He then said. I didn't bother listening and just continued reading my book, flipping the pages ever so slightly as my eyes linger with the pages.

The air in my lungs was then knocked out as i felt my wrists locked.

"W-what are you doi-"

My heart started beating frantically against my chest as i see Lukas face getting dangerously close to mine. His hands on mine, holding them tightly as he pinned me down on my bed.

I could feel his heart beat, it's pace was as frantic as mine. His breath tingling my senses as his face leans closer and closer.

And then he took the book in my hands.

"Get off me you butt!!" I yelled, trying to slowly shimmy my way out of his hold. But my attempts were only halfhearted, this doesn't seem so bad.

"Cleopatra and Anthony, huh?" The then said as he closes the book and reads the front cover, my eyes became as wide as saucers as I remember that I forgot to leave a bookmark.

"H-hey! I didn't put a bookmark there." I then said. His gaze once again turned back to me, I could this small tingle evoking from me.

Luka looks so endearing right now, he looks absolutely enamoring as the light of the moon shines behind him.

He then places the book safely on the table, his hold on me never faltering even slightly. He then lifted me upwards and tries to find a comfortable spot on my bed. And then sat me down promptly on his lap.

I didn't have time to react, his strange behavior already had me caught off guard. He's never acted like this before.

I could feel his hands slither up on my waist, his touch felt so warm and protecting that it had my cheeks flourishing a red tint.

My eyes turned as wide as saucers as I feel him nuzzle on my neck, nipping on the skin there making me arch my back at how good the sensation feels.

"H-hey, what about my book?" I then whimpered at him. He looks up at me with a hooded gaze, his eyes lingering with bemusement and he gave me a small shrug.

"That book can wait. I however, can't." He then said as he proceeds to give me small butterfly kisses on my collarbone. I decide to just give in.

My hands coming up on the nape of his neck, playing with the tendrils of his hair there which I subconsciously knew he loved. I felt a small quiver evoke from Luka, and that made my heart soar.

I then cupped his tinted cheek as I ever so gently started caressing them. Lukas face turns to my hand and he started to give them kisses as well, his gaze never leaving mine.

And then he leaned in. My eyes fluttered close as I felt his warm lips on mine, the way his lips moved with mine felt so amazing and the sensation he was giving me had my toes curling.

I kissed him back, my hands finding their way back to his hair. I gently tugged on his blue locks of hair as my lips dances with his feverishly.

The air suddenly felt a tad bit warm as I felt his hand slither a bit lower, evoking a small squeak from me.

"You are so adorable." He mumbled out, and then continued his sweet assault.

"I love you." I breath out, the air in my lungs faltering as I see this beautiful melody infront of me. Luka gave me a small smile and then planted his lips back on mine.

"I love you too, baby."
