When you comfort Each Other

Third Person Pov

(Y/N) felt like a fish in dire need of water. She was feeling weary, exhausted, both physically and mentally.

Today has been one heck of a rollercoaster ride for (Y/N), the lists of things she needed to do for today we're endless.

She felt lucky for having them finished early- if you call almost midnight early.

She set her bag down somewhere on the floor, not having a single care in the world. Plopping down on her soft bed, she heaved out a long, heavy sigh.

A bit of her tensity and strains left her body, but the feeling still lingers slightly.

She rolled on her back, looking up her finely decorated ceiling, filled with glow stars and colored (favourite shape/flower/anything really) cut outs she made with her friends.

(Y/N) lips curved into a small smile, remembering the hefty, yet fun day she had. Today would've been so stressful if the gang weren't there to help her out.

Then her mind wanders off somewhere else-Someone else. A familiar blue haired cinnamon roll then crossed her mind. She couldn't help but blush at the mere thought of him.

Luka Couffaine.

Saying that she loves that boy is a complete understatement, she's head over heels for him.

She felt the sudden urge to call him, to be by his side. To feel his warmth engulf her in tenderness.

But she stopped on her tracks, remembering that he too, had a really long day.

'Maybe he's resting. I shouldn't bother him.'

(Y/N) begand to ponder and debate. She didn't want to disturb Luka, he deserves some rest too. But her needy nature was far more powerful than she imagined.

She dialed the number she's memorized by heart, her eyes were wide and hopeful. Hoping that Luka would still be up at this time.

The phone started to ring, indicating that Lukas phone is on and ringing as well. And after a few seconds of ringing, someone picked up.

Immediately, (Y/N) pressed the phone to her ear and waited for Luka to greet her, as usual.

She couldn't help but feel giddy whenever they call, hearing the voice of her significant other makes her feel a tad bit better.

"Sweetheart? What're you doing up this late?" The tone of his voice, soft, yet it still held a slight hint of worry.

"Tired, but I can't sleep. What're you doing up this late?" She then asked him, her heart beating rapidly against her chest as she mumbles the word sweetheart under her breath.

Even after all this time, she still isn't over the adorable nicknames Luka gives her. It makes her feel giddy every time, it makes her feel special.

"Well, were on patrol. But Ladybug said I can go back early. Do you want me to drop by at your place for a bit?"

(Y/N) wanted to scream "YES" at the top of her lungs. She wanted Luka here, she needed him here. In her bed, and in her arms.

But she continues to ponder, thinking that maybe it's a better idea if he heads back home to get actual rest.

"If you want to." She couldn't say yes or no, so she went with the trick answer. Let him decide. It's a devious tactic, but it works.

"Well, I want to. I need to recharge anyways." Luka groaned out, a small yawn escaping his lips afterwards.

(Y/N) nuzzled her face on the soft pillow- "I think I have some gummy snakes here for Sass, he'll love them." She giggled.

"I didn't mean that- But yeah, better leave some of those gummies for Sass. I'll be there in a minute." Luka exclaimed.

(Y/N) could hear some shuffling and a slighty muffled out voices of Ladybug and Chat Noir.

Luka was probably bidding them goodnight, or maybe Chats poking fun at him again.

"Alright. I love you."

True to his word, Luka came knocking on her balcony door after a minute passed by.

He was already de-transformed, and Sass hovered beside him, looking extremely tired as well.

"Luka." She muttered under her breath, a small smile plastered on her face as she opens the balcony door for him.

(Y/N) greeted Luka with a small kiss on the cheek, and handed Sass some gummy snakes for him to devour.

Immediately after handing him the gummies, Sass was running off and about, giving (Y/N) and Luka some alone time.

He's learned from his past mistake.

Luka quickly claimed a spot on her bed, heaving out a sigh in content as he finally got the chance to rest his feetsies. "Are you feeling okay?" He then asked (Y/N), who was standing just infront of him.

The tired blueberry didn't know if it was the alluring light of the moon that made (Y/N) look even more endearing, or if it's just his oversized t-shirt that she's currently wearing.

But in his perspective, she looked like a beautiful goddess in comfy pajamas.

"Oh it's nothing." She waved at him. "I think it's just insomnia." (Y/N) shrugged, promptly sitting beside Luka as she rests her head on his shoulder.

"So, you can't sleep?" He then asks, receiving a small 'mhmhm' from the tired girl afterwards.

Luka thought long and hard, thinking of a few ways to get her sleeping. But he couldn't think of that many options, because he too, was feeling very tired.

So he decided to just go with the flow, which had (Y/N) surprised.

"Sit here." (Y/N) looked at Luka in disbelief. Luka patted the spot in his lap, waiting for (Y/N) to claim her place for some cuddles.

He continued to pat on the spot. Its not like Lukas going to take no for an answer anyways, so (Y/N) obliged.

She perched herself onto Lukas lap, wrapping her arms around his waist as she slowly nuzzled her face on the crook of his neck. A small sigh escaping her lips as the tense feeling slowly melts away.

This is heaven.

Luka wrapped his arms around her as well, pressing a soft, comforting kiss on her forehead. Silently reminding her that he's there, he's always going to be there for her.

After a few minutes of silence, (Y/N) let's out a small yawn. "You ready to sleep now, baby?" He cooes in her ear, gently drawing small circles in her back, in a comforting manner.

(Y/N) nodded her head, shifting a bit to try and break free from his hold. But Luka immediately pulled her back down, wrapping his arms even tighter around her.

Her eyes were as wide as saucers, her cheeks turning red in mere seconds as she once again feels these familiar tingles.

The satisfying sensation she feels whenever Luka presses his lips on her skin.

"Give me a few more minutes, sweetheart."
