Y/n POV
I grabbed Tao's wrist, before dragging him out of the mall to the car.
I was feeling everything. Regret. Happiness. Sorrow. Anger. Everything. I couldn't seem to face Taehyung after the way her yelled at me in his room.
Tao cleared his throat, making me look at him as we got in the car.
"Care to explain why you ran away from THE Kim Taehyung?" he spoke sternly.
"Long story, I'll treat you to dessert over this. Let's go to my house." I told him, and he nodded, starting the engine and driving us there.
Tao's been a nice guy so far. Very understanding, very kind. He's always struck me as a person with Hobi's personality.
"Are you his fan?" I asked him and he smiled.
"He came to Luhan's studio as soon as he debuted. He's like a brother to him and they're very close." he told me and I smiled.
"Then you're gonna be surprised as to why I walked away from THE Kim Taehyung." I told him chuckling.
"And he's the only reason I even came to China." I told him and he smiled.
"Then I gotta thank him, I'm sure you'll handle all of Luhan's work well." he said smiling, as we pulled into my apartment.
We walked up, opening my apartment before he settled down on the couch, waiting for me.
"I made some cheesecake yesterday, so I'm hoping you'll like it." I told him, giving him the plate while he gave me a toothy grin, rubbing his palms in satisfaction.
"Yum yum yum." he said, eating it. Adorable. He's just like the elder brother character I had in the orphanage.
Hyung Sik.
"Okay, now you're to tell me your story." he said, looking at me.
"It's basically a very clichéd story. Don't tell anyone." I told him sternly, pointing my index finger at his face.
"I won't!" he said, hands up in surrender.
"So this was one month ago. I received this message from an unknown number. I didn't know who Taehyung was at that time, let alone BTS. He'd accidentally mistaken my number for Jin's." I told him and his eyes widened.
"So you actually messaged Kim Taehyung?" he asked me, digging into the cheesecake.
"Technically, yes. We became good friends, he'd even talk to me after his practices. Then one day, he wanted to meet up. So I went to their dorm, cooked for them, and spent the night there." I told him and he laughed.
"Would've been pretty chaotic."
"Yeah kind of. And the next morning, I kind of cried, and Jin gave me a hug saying all the members are like my brothers. He was comforting me in simple words." I told him and he nodded, waiting for me to go on.
"And that day, Taehyung ignored me on whole. I didn't even know what I did wrong. When I confronted him about it, he yelled at me saying I was taking advantage of him to get to Jin. He said if I ever stepped foot into their dorm, he'd call the security. He just insulted me. And I told him to never cross paths with me once he realizes his mistake." I ended, not realizing the tears that were now streaming down my cheeks.
He put down his plate, before walking up to me and pulling me into his embrace.
"You'll be fine Y/n, you'll be fine." he whispered, rubbing my back as I let out a choked sob.
"I just miss him, but I don't want to be with someone who blames me for everything." I let out, sobbing into his chest.
"You'll be fine, don't cry, you'll eventually come around to forgiving him. Don't worry. You'll be fine." he spoke, rubbing my back while I continuously sobbed into his chest.
I eventually calmed down, chuckling at his wet T shirt.
"I'm sorry, your shirt is wet now." I pouted, wiping my cheeks with the back of my hand.
"That's fine, as long as you've calmed down." he spoke and I chuckled.
"Such a nice PA I have." I teased and he chuckled, before lying on the couch.
"Y/n, you won't mind if I spend the night here would you? My apartment gets pretty lonely, and I'd have someone to chat with!" he spoke cheerfully and I chuckled.
"Sure, you can sleep in the guest room." I told him, and he clapped his hands like a little kid before walking up to me.
"Thank you Ms. Lee." he said, patting my head before walking to the room.
I knew we'd be the best of friends.
But Taehyung.
That's exactly what I thought about him too.
Instead of being the best of friends, I fell for him.
I fell head over heels for him.
And my heart can't seem to let that feeling go.
God Taehyung, please don't give up on me.
