These past few days have been one of the best for Elaine. She's never felt closer to her best friends, she felt so free. She hasn't even had a nightmare in a while, the twins book actually helped her.

However, here she was standing at the station of Kings-Cross once again. She suddenly missed the homely smell, although she just felt it a couple minutes ago, she couldn't help but be sad.

She loved spending the holidays with the people she loved, now she was here with watery eyes saying goodbye to Arthur and Molly. The holidays were over, and she was going to miss them so much.

She didn't miss Umbridge or her rules, her pathetic aura, or the way Hogwarts made her feel lately. It made her feel alone, and sad. It wasn't the same. The only good part we're her friends.

As she gave her last hug to Molly, as she trailed behind the trio, with the twins next to her. She stepped into the crowded train, and was walking through the hallways into they're usual compartment.

The trio stepped in, while the twins went by with they're friends. The four sat in there, and Elaine could practically already see Draco coming here.

Elaine was in a weird state with Draco right now, somehow, she couldn't sort out her feelings, and with Aurora being around him because of the holidays, she couldn't help but feel envy.

She felt she didn't deserve Draco. She wasn't, and will never be enough for him. She had so many issues, she could never imagine it would be fair to put that on Draco. It was for his own good.

Her mind travels for her to overthink constantly, and her anxiety take over. She still liked Draco, most likely loved him. But she couldn't be selfish. She had to let him choose. She then decided it would be best to visit him, before he came to her and disturbed the trio.

She pulled out a small bag of gallons Draco had given her, she didn't like having his money, but he was so insisted on her having whatever she liked. It wasn't worth arguing.

"Would you guys mind getting me chocolate frogs? i'll be back soon i just have to visit Draco before he gets all whiney" Elaine said laughing.

The four of them laughed, and nodded. "Oh and you guys can get something if you'll like" Elaine said smiling while walking out the compartment.

Elaine wore a pair of light wash jeans that were quite baggy on her, with a short white-longed sleeved cropped turtle neck, a big baggy black and white flannel, with her white converse and a necklace over the shirt.

It was cold that day, so she decided to layer a bit.

While searching for the Slytherin section through the crowded hallways, she ran into Luna and a boy. She's never really talked to the boy, but she's seen him a lot. Neville she recalls was his name.

"Luna!" Elaine said in excitement, hugging her. Luna hugged her back and smiled. "How were your holidays?" Luna asked nicely. "Lovely! i spend it with the Weasleys" Elaine said smiling.

"We were just on our way to Ginny" Luna said. Elaine looked at the boy, and he seemed a bit shy. "Hello! You're Neville right?" Elaine said nicely.

"Y-Yes" Neville replied nervously while he lifted his head up. "What are you holding? is it a sort of plant?" Elaine said curiously. Nevilles eyes immediately lit up and he replied.

"Yes! It's actually a Mimbulus Mibletonia! I love plants and Herbology! i was looking at this plant to put in my dormitory. It's quiet extraordinary don't you think?" Neville said with a smile on his face.

Elaine could tell this is something he enjoyed. Suddenly, Neville lost confidence and his head went down. "I- I'm sorry, im rambling again am i? i don't mean too" he said like it was something to be ashamed off.

"Oh don't apologize! im quite impressed frankly. I used to love Herbology, but lately I've felt disconnected from it. I would love to learn more about plants! maybe one day you could teach me and sit and talk" Elaine said honestly, sensing the poor boys discomfort.

"Really?" he said in excitement. Elaine nodded and Neville said "Just let me know when". After that encounter, Luna and Neville said goodbye and headed their different ways.

After walking for a while, Elaine found the compartment with Draco, Blaise, Aurora and Pansy. Draco's eyes lit up as soon as she saw her, and he hugged her immediately and pulled her into his lap.

Elaine laughed as she missed the warmth of Dracos body around hers. "How was everyone's holidays?" Elaine asked. Blaise immediately started rambling about how fun Dracos place was. Elaine laughed, but her heart burned from the thought of Aurora with Draco.

After it quiet down, Elaine noticed they were nearly there. She had been sitting on Dracos lap the whole ride, laughing and talking with Blaise. Blaise was one of the funniest people she's met, and hers and Blaises sarcasm were practically spot on.

They hadn't gotten along on her early days of Hogwarts, but now, she practically loved him as a brother. Draco laughed underneath her, gripping her thigh from time to time. Elaine noticed Auroras gaze when Draco did this. Elaine knew Aurora has something sketchy with Draco, she trusted Draco.

However, she could never been mean to Aurora when she hadn't done anything wrong. She knew people couldn't control feelings, so as long as Aurora stayed in her lane, Elaine had no reason to be rude to her.

"Shit we need to change into our robes" Elaine said. The other four agreed, and went to change. Soon, it was Draco and Elaine left in the compartment. "I have a surprise for you" Draco said with a smirk.

"Draco i said no more gifts, i don't want your money-" Elaine started but was interrupted. "Relax darling, this didn't cost me money" he pulled out a small green box, with a bow on top. Elaine smiled to herself and opened it.

Blueberry Scones rested inside. "Mum thought you would like some before she left for her trip" Draco said. Elaine smiled and hugged Draco. Before she could process it, her mouth was moving.

"I love-" she realized mid sentence what she was saying, and her cheeks filled with blush. "I love these! thank you!" she said trying to cover up the very obvious thing both her and Draco knew she was gonna say.

The room filled with awkwardness, and they awkwardly walked to get change in silence.

Elaine could practically smell Hogwarts from there.
