D-1 Halloween

"Before I dismiss you guys today, there will be no after school study since tomorrow is Halloween," Ms. Lee announces. The class cheers.

I'm bummed, of course. Me and Yuni would have had our outfits planned out by now, but since our friendship jumped the cliff, it's not going to happen anymore... but I do have a plan.

These two weeks went by quickly. Thankfully, I'm done cleaning the gym so now I can defend myself against Daehyun without adding punishment upon another. I've been his beanbag for far too long.

Oddly enough, my hate love relationship with Jungwon is what's keeping me going now a days. He's still the cold ice prince, but he melts sometimes so it catches me off guard.

Like today, he bought me a soda from the cafeteria. He never does that even when I ask.

Tell me why Jongseong have been reaching out to me more often nowadays. It's like that kissed between him and Yuni never happened. Even though I'm unexperienced, I know when someone is flirting... I think...

Even though Yuni is awful for kissing him and ignoring me because of her feelings, why do I feel iffy about him flirting with me? Should I love it or hate it? A part of me gives me the squeals and another makes me feel guilty.

"Last announcement, as you all know our Fall talent show is approaching in two weeks, the sign up sheet will be up Monday," Ms. Lee announces.

I look over at Jungwon.

"No Kim Sunni," Jungwon says without even looking at me.

I groan and put my head on my desk, "You're always like this!"

"And you're always like this," He says back.

He stays reading my mind. I don't know how he does it.

"Dismissed!" Ms. Lee says before leaving. We all start to get up to leave.

"What are you doing tomorrow?" I ask Jungwon excitedly as we both pack our backpacks.

"Whatever scheme you have, I don't want to be apart of it," Jungwon says.

I sigh, "Do you only think of me as trouble?"

He looks at me seriously. I'm taking that as a yes.

"Jungwonie, I'm throwing a Halloween party tomorrow you should come!" says Jayun with a bright smile.

She literally pops up out of nowhere.

Since that day I approached her about nearly killing me, she's either ignored me or glared at me since then. Crazy how people show their true colors.

"And me?" I ask blocking her view of Jungwon.

"Bye Jungwon!" She waves at him and turns around completely ignoring me.

"Pft," I let out. "People love to hate me."

"It's my favorite hobby," says Jungwon with a smirk as he puts on his backpack.

"Ha ha ha very funny," I push his shoulder.

He nods his head towards the door, "Letchugo!"

I giggle as I follow his lead out the school. Even though Jungwon could be pretty cold sometimes, I know he loves me. Otherwise why else would he purposefully show his real personality to me?

I guess Jake was right, he's not too bad.

"So how does the talent shows usual go here?" I ask Jungwon as we're walking home.

"A good amount of people perform and we usually have judges," Jungwon simply explains.

I nod, "And you never performed, correct?" He nods.
