"ugh the line is so long" jungwon complained as he saw the line to enter the game store, "let's just go somewhere else"

jungwon was about to walk away but ayame gripped onto his wrist and before he could say anything, she dragged him over to the line of the game store.

she let go of his wrist and then crossed her arms, not looking at him. jungwon looked at her confused, "i told you we do-"

"we're getting that game you want" she pointed at him, "whether or not this line is long"

"but what if it's not even in there? waiting in line would've been a waste of time" he responded, feeling bad

"then oh well but if it's still in there?" he stayed silent, "exactly. so let's wait"

jungwon was going to argue with her but figured in the end he would lose so the two then stood in line for about 20 minutes before finally being able to enter the store.

jungwon and ayame quickly went over to the section where jungwon's game was but to his dismay, the game was not there. he sighed, "i told you"

ayame felt bad since he genuinely looked happy to get the game but it wasn't there, "is there any other game you would want?"

"yah..i guess. be right back" while jungwon walked away to go get another video game disc, ayame looked around the store, trying to find someone.

spotting someone with the game, she quickly ran over to the male. ayame stood in front of the male who just looked at her weirdly, "hi. i know you don't know me but did you buy the newest game that was released?" the male nodded, "how much did you pay for it?"

"25,000 won" the male replied

ayame bit her lip before responding, "if i give you 25,000 won, can i have the game?"

the male crossed their arms, staring at the seemingly desperate girl in front of him, "35,000 won"

ayame almost dropped dead at what the man said. she didn't want to give 35,000 won but her eyes wondered over to jungwon who was in line for a game which wasn't the one they came there for.

ayame shook her head before grabbing her wallet and taking out 45,000 won, "here" she handed it over to the man. the man smiled before handing her the bag that had the game in. he thanked her before leaving the store

ayame looked in the bag and saw the game in there, "why the hell am i doing this..?"

she quickly shoved the video game with the bag into her backpack before jungwon could return.

jungwon then returned with a bag in his hand, a little disappointed but wasn't going to let it bother him too much.

the two left the store, ayame debating on when she should give the game to the boy

"so where do you want to go?" ayame asked, figuring she'll just give it to him at the end of the day

"let's go shopping for some clothes. i've been wanting new t-shirts" the girl nodded and the two walked, finding a clothing store to enter.

they found a shop, entering it and immediately ayame felt out of place. she saw the price of one of the shirts and gasped at it, "what the hell..90,000 won for a shirt" she muttered to herself as jungwon already began looking through the t-shirt section

'can he afford this..?' she thought since the boy was just scrolling through the shirts, not looking at the prices

ayame wasn't one for shopping. it wasn't that she didn't like shopping, she would love to browse for clothes and just buy all the ones that looked cute but with her financial situation, she had a limited amount of clothes. she even stole a bunch of t-shirts and sweatpants from her brother.
