ayame had gone home that day and she immediately jumped into the shower, cleaning herself off.

once she had finished, she went to her room and began drying her hair with her towel. then she began cleaning up her room, she was putting her clothes in her closet, hanging the few clothes she had and folded a few of them as well.

she walked over to her desk and sat down. it was all messy but she would clean it.

before hand, she grabbed blue and black nail polish that she had and began painting her nails. she painted her left hand's nails blue and the others black.

blue was jungwon's favorite color and black was riki's favorite color.

after she knew they were dried, she put them away and began cleaning up her desk. she put all her notebooks in a pile and made sure there was no clutter on her desk.

she then got out of her seat and moved over to her bed, making it neat. she proceeded to walk back to her closet and just wore her school uniform that she usually wore.

ayame finished cleaning her room and stared at her room that was now clean even though it was usually a mess.

she proceeded to walk into the bathroom where she stared at herself in the mirror in her school uniform. she took in a deep breath before she brushed her teeth and brushed out her hair. she then turned off the light and went back into her room where she grabbed one more box and her phone.

she then turned off the light to her room and closed the door.

she walked into riki's and her father's room where neither were present since riki had gone to hang out with his friends.

she went to his bed and placed the gift on his bed.

she then walked out of their room before leaving the house.

her last and final time

ayame's hands were shaking with her phone in her hand. her heart was pounding and she wanted to cry but for some reason, a small smile on her face appeared.

she dialed a number on her phone and put the phone to her ear. the person quickly answered, "hey riki"

"hey ayame! are you with jungwon right now?" riki responded, not knowing what was going on on the other side of the phone

"not right now, no. i'm walking back home actually from school. i called you because i was wondering if we could reschedule the carnival. i'm going to be working on my birthday actually" her voice almost cracked but not now, she stopped it from doing so

"huh? of course! no worries! we can go on sunday!"

"great" ayame smiled sadly, "hey riki.." the boy hmmed in response, "i hope you know i love you forever and you make my life so much better"

"i love you too ayame" riki had no idea what was going on, "i'll be home at like 8 or 9! get home safe!"

"will do..you too riki" ayame then hung up and had to catch her breath.

then she called one more person. the person didn't take long to pick up either.

"hey jungwon" ayame spoke as soon as he picked up

"hello ayame! did something happen? are you okay?" jungwon responded, sounding happy

"i'm good. don't worry. nothing happened" ayame replied, looking at her shoes, "how are you?"

"i'm good as well" jungwon said

"that's good.." she was acting as if they hadn't taken in years when she literally talked to him a few hours prior, "are you busy right now?"

"yah i'm actually on a date right now. she's in the bathroom right now" jungwon answered

"oh, okay. i was going to ask if you wanted to hang out but i guess not" she chuckled bitterly

"i'm so sorry! maybe another day though"

"yah..another day. you should get back to your date. i'll see you.." she didn't even finish her sentence knowing it wasn't true

"yup! bye ayame" jungwon hung up on the call and now ayame was left with tears pooling from her eyes.

her heart was aching and everything was hurting. she felt dizzy and the only thing in her mind right now was nothing. she was completely empty with only the guilt of leaving her brother.

but she can't do it anymore. she couldn't.

the other person that made her happy is slowly leaving her and now she's alone.

but it's not his fault.

it's no one fault.

she simply placed the blame on herself.

she's..alone.

she composed herself, wiping her tears away from her face. she untied the laces on her shoes before taking off her shoes and placing them beside her.

she then stood on the edge of building with a smile on her face, looking at the sun as it began setting, "maybe in another world, another life, i was meant for a happy ending but not here.."

she stepped forward, whispering the last words, "not this time.."

the wind felt so cold..
