in which nishimura ayame is struggling with her mental health and home life and yang jungwon tries to help her but nothing could ever go right for...
ayame was sat down at the bleachers, waiting for jungwon and his girlfriend to arrive. ayame was trying to hide her sadness because she had to show she was happy for her friend.
it's not that she wasn't happy for them but she was feeling the pain any other person would feel when they find out their crush is dating someone.
to be honest ayame was scared. was his girlfriend going to judge her like everyone else did? was she also not going to like her?
"ayame!" a boy shouted and ayame snapped out of her thoughts, seeing jungwon holding hands with her.

ayame forced on a fake smile and stood up
"ayame, this is hyunjin and hyunjin this is ayame, my girlfriend"
"hi! it's nice to meet you" hyunjin smiled brightly, holding her hand out for a shake
"hi..it's nice to meet you as well" ayame shook her hand quickly before bringing it to her side
"jungwon has told me a lot about you. he really enjoys being friends with you." hyunjin spoke with no harsh intent

"haha..me too i like being his friend"
"also you're really pretty! i've seen you around school but never had the chance to tell you but some people had said..uhrm.."
"rumors?" ayame finished for her
hyunjin nodded sadly, "b-but i didn't want to believe them obviously since jungwon spoke so greatly of you and i think you're a genuine person just from what he says"
"well thank you for not believing the rumors. i'm glad jungwon spoke nicely of me or i wouldn't be friends with him" ayame joked and jungwon smacked her shoulder, a small frown on his face
"same honestly. i hate speaking bad of people so if i found out jungwon also did, i wouldn't have even tried with him" ayame chuckled at this while jungwon was literally right there
"ugh you guys are both so annoying. you guys would be perfect friends" jungwon rolled his eyes at their response
"well then" hyunjin started after laughing a little, "hopefully we can become friends as well. we can talk more at the festival. i need to go meet up with student council to discuss more of the festival so i'll see you guys later!" hyunjin kissed jungwon's cheek before waving bye to the two and left the two friends alone
"she's very bright. she's perfect for you. you guys are really alike" ayame told him
"im glad you like her. i want my friends to really like her as much as i do- okay..well maybe not THAT much but you know what i mean" he rephrased his sentence
ayame chuckled, patting his shoulder, "glad to meet her. she's so sweet. glad she didn't judge me"
"hyunjin wouldn't. she's a very sweet and bright girl"
just by the way jungwon was talking about her, ayame could see the love he had for her and it made her happy seeing how he talked about her
"hope you guys work out well" she smiled through the pain
"me too. anyways! i need to go catch up with my friends. see you later" he waved bye and so did ayame and then jungwon walked away.
ayame sat back down on the bleachers, thinking of what happened.
she wanted to be mad. she wanted to be mad at this but she couldn't.
hyunjin seemed like a genuine sweet girl who made him happy so she wasn't going to say anything at all. she was going to keep her feelings to herself and just be happy she was friends with him

"hyunjin!" a girl yelled for her name. she turned around in the hallway and saw one of her classmates, saerom, who she was decently close with
"oh hey saerom" hyunjin smiled, "what's up?"
"i saw you talking with that upperclassman" saerom brought up
"jungwon? he's my boyfriend so.." hyunjin responded, a little confused
"no, no. that weird girl" saerom spoke and hyunjin was taken back by this, "you know that girl that jungwon is oddly friends with"
"..you mean ayame? niki's sister?"
"yah! her!" she snapped her fingers
"what about ayame?"
"i was just curious as to why you were taking to her. you've heard the rumors about her. she's creepy and weird. haven't you heard about her eating disorder? that girl is crazily skinny and not even in a good way" saerom scoffed about it
"you're judging her by what other people say. you've never even talked to her before so why are you assuming?" hyunjin defended the girl
saerom looked at her in shock, "are you defending her? that creepy ass girl"
"she isn't creepy" hyunjin sighed, "also, even if she does have an eating disorder, what's it to you? that's a her thing to deal with and her friends should be there to comfort her about. it's her body, nots yours. you should be concerned for a girl who has a eating disorder, if she does have one. either way, it's none of your business. it's not something to even make fun of if she is dealing with it. so stop sticking your nose's in other people's business"
saerom scoffed again, pushing her shoulder with her finger, "don't talk back"
hyunjin let out a small chuckle before pushing her hand away, "i'm not going to listen to you. just stop judging people based on what you hear from others. you don't even know her personally so shut up" hyunjin spoke before turning around and walking away
