Chapter 23

Billie's POV

I know brooklynn is upset so I'm gonna give her some space. As I was walking to my room i heard her singing in finneas room. She sounded so good, I wanted to walk in and tell her but she's upset right now.

I sighed and walked to my room and closed my door. Now I gotta find a fake boyfriend for tomorrow. I do have this one boy. No one knows him and it could look realistic. I grab my phone and went to me and Brandon's messages.

Hey, I know we haven't talked for a while but I need a huge favor.

Oh fr what is it.

Ok this might sound weird since we're really good friends but I need you to be my fake boyfriend for tomorrow and come over for dinner please, I'll do anything for you.

Ight, I'll do it but on two conditions

Ok what is it

You have to let me take you out to eat and you have to come to this party

Can my girlfriend come to the party?

u gay? Shii never expected. But sure 

I'm not gay, I guess I'm bisexual. But ok I'll do it come tmr around 8:00

I sighed and relief, just then brooklynn walked in and went to my closet and came back with some shorts and a sports bra. She walked out and I'm guessing went to the bathroom. I really hope she doesn't think I really have a boyfriend.

Brooklynn POV

I walked to the bathroom and turned on the shower. After I got done with my shower I put on my clothes well shorts and a sports bra and then I put my knotless box braids in a messy bun. I went back to billie's room and grabbed  my phone and my charger.

"W-where you going looking like that." I rolled my eyes. "Why do you care." I mumbled. "Because you're my girlfriend and I care about you." I sighed. "Am I really."  I said then walked out of her room and then back to finneas room. 

"I'm ready to go." I smiled at finneas. He offered to drive me to Claudia's since I asked him to. "Alright cmon." We walked downstairs and Maggie stopped us. "Where you two going." "Oh I'm going to drop off brooklynn at Claudia's house she wants to hang out with her."

 Maggie nodded and we walked out of the house. "Wanna play music?" He asked. "Yeah." I smiled at him. "What's wrong." He asked. "It's just the way billie sounded so defensive when she said you were lying about a lot of things." I said sadly.

"I'm sorry brooklynn, maybe Claudia can cheer you up." I smiled at him. "Thanks finneas, you're like the big brother I never had." He smiled "Hey did you know we're going on tour." He said as I played some music.

"Really?" I asked. "Yeah, billie didn't tell you." I looked at him and shook my head. "When do you guys go?" I asked. "Uhh in two weeks actually." He said excitedly. "Oh I um I'm happy for you guys." I smiled sadly.

"Don't worry brooke, we'll keep in touch." I smiled and nodded. "Ok we're here." I thanked him and got out of the car. "Bye finneas" I said. He waved and I walked towards Claudia and gave her a hug. "Girl you look cute." She said.

"I don't know I feel like I look ugly." I mumbled. "That's crazy talk." She said and we laughed. Maybe Claudia can cheer me up.

Billie's POV

Those three words kept repeating in my head 'Am I really.' Does she not wanna be together anymore. Maybe it was because of what I said. But she has to understand I don't wanna come out, and my parents are gonna tell us to sleep in different rooms. 

I sighed and got up and walked downstairs when I heard that finneas was back. I thought brooke would be with him, but she wasn't. "Where's brooke?" I asked him. "At Claudia's, why didn't you tell her we were going on tour?" He asked.

My eyes grew wide. "Y-you told her?" I said. "More like asked her, but why didn't you tell her." He asked again. "I-I I was going to but I got nervous and couldn't find the right time." I said quietly.

"Well she knows now." I sighed and went back to my room. She's gonna hate me when she gets home.

Brooke is just now getting home and walking in my room. 'Where have you been its...10:30." I said to her. "Are you my mom?" "No but-." She cut me off, "Ok then, Maggie didn't have a problem with me coming in this late so why should you." She snapped.

I was shocked. "What's wrong why are you being so mean all of a sudden." I said as I sat up. "Because billie don't you think you hurt my feelings  when you said we weren't dating, don't you think I felt hurt when you said all those things about not liking me. How do you think I feel!"

She yelled. Tears streamed out of her eyes. "I-I I'm sorry ok, I just don't wanna come out to them yet. I don't wanna sleep in a separate room then you. If I did tell them they were gonna make you sleep in the guest room. And I don't want you to do that." I said truthfully.

She sniffled and wiped her tears. "I don't know what to think anymore billie." She said as her voice cracked. "Baby I'm so sorry I made you feel like this." I said and got up and hugged her. When she calmed down I pulled away and smiled at her.

"Y-you look hot." She blushed and looked down. "Thanks, but I don't really-." I cut her off, "Shut up I don't wanna hear it, you're beautiful." She blushed even more. "I love you." I said as I kissed her forehead.

"I love you too." She said I kissed her and it was a passionate kiss. "Cmon baby I don't wanna...ya know tonight because I'm tired." She mumbled against my lips. "Ok, goodnight." She smiled and got in the bed.

"Wait billie." She said. I got in bed and laid next to her. "Yes." I said as I pulled the cover over me. She looked at me and took a deep breath. "Somethings been bothering me and you told me to tell you when something is bothering me." She said softly.

I nodded "Yea I did, so wasup." I said. "Well...were you ever gonna tell me you were going on tour." she said sadly. "Yes baby of course." I said and quickly sat up. "I was gonna tell you when I first heard about it that's why i was so sad that day."

I sighed, "But then you did a nice thing for me and made me forget why I was so sad. Then I was gonna tell you again but I felt like it was a bad time since ya know' the Khloe thing." I mumbled the last part.

"Oh." She said. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner, I-I just felt like there was never a right time." I said. "No I get it, I'm sorry for making it a big deal." She mumbled. "No no baby it's ok I want you to talk to me, I always want you to tell me when something is bothering you."

I paused. "And this was a big step for you to take, by telling me." I smiled. She smiled back and kissed me. "Goodnight billie." 

"Goodnight angel."
