"Come on now, Hana!" Shane exasperates, clapping his hands together.

Sophia's sun on right shoulder mistake.

Miss.

"Shane-" Andrea attempts.

"Hit the damn target, Hana!" Shane continues.

Getting lost as the sun went down.

Miss.

"Shane! Doing this to me was one thing. Hana is still a kid you can't-"

"Those geeks took from you again.. They got Dale, this time! Took Sophia right from you!" Shane continues to patronize.

Geeks.

So many geeks.

My hands shake as I clench the gun tighter, glaring at the limb.

"Shane!" Andrea cries.

"First your sister, then Amy, then Jim, then Sophia now Dale!"

Sophia's hand in mine as we ran away.

"Hey, man, ease the hell up," T-Dog criticizes.

A single geek getting too close, grabbing Sophia around the waist.

"Who's next? Glenn? If you don't-"

Sophia's screams as she yelled for me to keep running- the blood pouring from her neck.

Shane stumbles backwards, Andrea holding her hand to her chest as I finally shoot the target.

Hiding in that tent alone.

I follow it as it swings wildly from the impact, hitting it once again.

Staying in that tiny closet alone.

I shoot the gun over and over, hitting the target each time.

Swimming in that creek alone.

The gun begins clicking in my hand- a sign that it was empty.

Hiding in that car alone.

T-Dog eases his arm toward me, slowly lowering my aim.

Everything was me. Just me. Sophia was dead and I was alone.

"Holy shit," Shane mutters.

Staring at Jim's letter I had yet to read, I purse my lips- hating that even though speaking the language was getting easier, reading it was another story.

I had to speak to everyone in English, but when it came to reading- Carol was the one who was helping me with lessons.

And Carol hasn't spoken to me once since I've been back.

"Hana," Shane calls, stepping on the porch.

I look up at him from where I was sat with my back to the railing.

"Mm," I hum, looking back down to Jim's letter.

Shane gets closer, kneeling down beside me. Before he could speak, I ask my own question-

"Why is Rick going to kill that guy in the barn?" I ask.

"Because, he's dangerous. But, Dale wanted him alive. So, Rick and Daryl are gonna take him somewhere and let him go," Shane explains.

I nod, keeping quiet.

"Hana, I want you to have this," he says.

Shane reaches to his waistline, pulling out a gun and extending it to me.
