For a few seconds, Taeyang and I could only stare at each other.

Slowly, his eyes flick to his hand, mine carefully following to the ring that was pinched between his fingers. Then, we meet eyes once more.

"You.. I.." he closes his eyes, "I'm confused."

"I was just.. Seeing you.." I try to sort through my words.

"Like.. Have.. Now?" he pieces a few words together roughly.

"No!" I shake my head, "I mean- not no as in ring no but no as in.. As in I'm confused, too."

Taeyang makes a cutting sound before I shake my head again, forcing my head to be clear.

"Mine was just.. Hypothetical.. What if, one day, in the future.. I don't know.." I cringe at my own voice.

"Mine.. Mine.." he stumbles, looking to the ring again, "Mine wasn't hypothetical."

A rush of realization floods over me, even though I already knew what was happening minutes ago.

"Tyang.." I whisper.

"It's.. Your dad and I talked about it a couple months ago.." he begins, "I just wanted you to know.. Like hyung and I talked about in the past for he and Maggie. I.. I want that for you and I."

His eyes turn shy, looking down to my lap as he bites his lip.

"Say it again," I urge.

"Say.. Say.." he trails off, looking back to me.

I nod, giving him support and his eyes flash in recognition.

"Right! That.. Again.." he laughs, a blush creeping up his neck.

He shuffles in his seat, taking me with him as he looks up at me, pulling the ring between us.

"Hana.. Love of my life.." Taeyang grins, "Will you marry me?"

I surge forward, wrapping my arms back around him once again, a warm and tight embrace unlike any other in the past.

"Yes," I answer with ease and a racing heart.

Taeyang laughs, his arms wrapping around my back, kissing my collarbone before hiding his face in my hair. We stay in the position for a few minutes until Taeyang sighs out happily.

"I love you," he mutters against my skin.

"I love you," I return, kissing his cheek as I raise back up.

"Can I?" he asks, gesturing to the ring.

I nod, laughing as I hold my hand out to him. He slips the ring on my finger and I couldn't help the awe sound that slips from my mouth at how sparkly it was.

"How did you.." I trail off, resting my now bedazzled hand on his chest.

"Jesus and I had been on a few runs near a jewelry store. He helped me clear it out and then I got Maggie and Tina's approval on which one," he answers.

"Go figure," I chuckle, switching my eyes from admiring the ring to admiring his eyes.

"This mean you're my wife now?" he wonders.

"Do you wanna sign a paper?" I question with a shrug.

"Think I have a better way to seal the deal.." he whispers, leaning up for a soft kiss before grinning, "Sealed."
