Hana's grandmother was a woman of strong belief and faith

Hana's grandmother was a woman of strong belief and faith.

Her biggest reminder to Hana was always of karma- that is comes in many forms and is brought to those that deserve it.

Do good and good will come to you. Do bad and the world will have you face the consequences.

Hana wondered just how much of the bad she's faced was a sign from the world for her to get her act together. Was losing Andrea and Hershel punishment for sneaking into Woodbury? Was losing Youngji punishment for killing Tara's sister?

Hana missed her grandmother's words- maybe with her guidance now she wouldn't have felt so lost all those times.

But, Hana had a clearer head on her shoulders now. She felt she'd done more growing up in the past few months than the rest of her life. And she intended to keep it that way.

She hit her limit- killing Tara's sister the proof on it's own. She knew what pushed her over the edge now. She knew what it felt like at rock bottom. So, she knew when and how to stop it before it got out of control like before.

Now, she had a feeling in her chest that felt foreign after all these years. Hope.

Reg Monroe was a man of hope- he'd said it himself that his gift was a 'good luck charm'. He'd taken Hana under his wing in the short amount of time they were given and the handmade token of luck would always be there to remind Hana of those lessons shared.

Growth. Understanding. She had to keep that part more than ever before.

She would never go back to those times.

Not that scared girl on her own in the woods that lost her mind.

Not the bitter one that shut people out.

Not the vengeful one that risked her life for payback.

Not the cold one that didn't care who she was hurting.

Not the anxious one that couldn't hold eye contact with someone new.

Hana was changed.

Stronger, smarter, bolder, patient, and level headed.

She knew she still had room to grow, she always would. But, she would only carry the lessons with her, no matter how much pain she had to go through to learn them to begin with.

Good. Hana was good.
