Negan.. Negan.. Negan.. Negan.. Negan..

The name was like a a broken record in my brain.

Jesus explained the situation, why things weren't 'as they might seem'.

Negan was a leader of another group- 'The Saviors'.

When Hilltop was just starting out well, the Saviors took over and killed on of their people. Rory, a sixteen year old that was handpicked from the group. They beat the poor teen in front of all the others to make a statement.

Hilltop gave the Saviors half of everything they had in exchange of security that the group doesn't attack Hilltop.

Daryl was the one to make the outline of the trade. If our group takes out Negan and his people, Hilltop would trade with us instead.

But, I couldn't get the name out of my head.

"Negan.." I voice, the name feeling strange on my lips, "Jesus said they've seen groups as big as twenty at a time."

"They got numbers," Taeyang agrees, understanding my concern.

"Hey, Governor had numbers, too," Daryl reminds, "We made it through that."

At once, a chill goes through my body- the name setting me on edge.

"Yeah, and Governor left our place in shambles and us split up," Michonne huffs.

"Look, we just have to trust Maggie," Rick voices- Maggie being the one currently inside speaking to the bandaged up Gregory about the trade.

"Maggie herself said if we do this, it's gonna cost us something," I recall the minutes before she'd walked inside.

"This isn't going to cost us. We take them out, we gain things. We gain allies, food, supplies, Daniel will get the medical treatment he needs," Rick lists.

"And if this backfires and it gets more of us killed?" Taeyang questions.

"We've went through worse and lost more to less. We have this under control. We can't lose this fight. We don't have the ability to lose anymore," Rick says.

"Cocky much," I scoff.

"Hana," Rick scolds though he didn't understand what I said, "We aren't losing anything anymore."

"Rick's right," Michonne agrees, "There's no way we can fuck this up. Not after everything we've been through.

Maggie returned soon and everyone was put to work once again as the deal was made. Hilltop would be giving half of everything up front and we would begin the plans to take the fight to the Saviors.

"We need to talk," Maggie pulls Glenn, Taeyang, Jae, and I aside.

"So talk," Jae nods, leaning against one of the picnic tables, "You seem to be good at that here lately."

"Daniel can't be moved again, it could worsen his condition. He needs to stay here until he gets the treatment he needs," she begins.

"And that means what exactly?" Taeyang asks.

"You three need to stay with him. Ben and Jessie are staying, too."

"Stay here? In this place we don't know?" I ask.

"That's why it's all of you and not just a couple," she assures.

"I should be with Daryl," Jae sighs, looking to the medic trailer.

"Ben needs to be here for Daniel. Jessie is Ben's caretaker at this point, he needs her. Hana, you have to be here to start working on that scan and getting Daniel the help he needs," she points to me.
