【end and fun facts】

With MAKNAE coming to an end, I thought it would be fun to include some things that almost happened and other fun bits!

* Taeyang originally had a nephew instead of a grandmother. It was originally his brother's sun that had been taken into custody by Woodbury after the evacuation instead of Youngji.

* The song that Hana and Glenn listen to after the quarry camp was attacked is the same song that Hana and Taeyang have their 'prom night' dance to. (SHINee Romantic)

* There was a line in which Carl and Hana kissed when at the prison and Hana thought it was gross.

* Originally, Ben and Jae were brothers and played by other face claims. After I read a Steven Yeun interview about diversity in the show, they changed to their current fcs and Ben and Daniel became brothers instead.

* Hana was originally meant to be played by Sejeong until I put Go Minsi instead. Hana's name comes from Sejeong's character in 'The Uncanny Counter' in tribute to almost putting her as the fc.

* Sophia was originally meant to stay alive.

* The two songs I listened to the most while writing this book was SHINee's 'Selene 6.26' and BeWhy's 'Side By Side'.

* There is an alternate timeline in which Glenn and Jae both survive, but Hana, Daryl, and Ben all die.

* The faceclaim for Jae was Jaehyun from NCT at one point before switching to Hwiyoung and his name was 'Jake'.

*The 'Johnny' reference by the claimers is a refrence to NCT's Johnny.

* Ben and Daniel's names stem from Beomgyu and Yeonjun's English names.

* Taeyang's faceclaim was originally Lee Dohyun until I chose Go Minsi for Hana. The name was meant to refrence YooTaeyang and when I decided to switch the faceclaims, I figured to go ahead and use the original meaning of the name and use YooTaeyang as the faceclaim.

* Jiyong's name stems from BigBang's G-Dragon.

* Tina's face claim is Cho Bo-Ah who is in a drama with the frequently mentioned Lee Dong-Wook.

* Angela's face claim is Lee Siyoung who is in a drama with Go Minsi.

* Anna's face claim is Kim Tae-Hee which is a refrence to an upcoming book that features RAIN.

* Rick and Michonne filled in as Hana's parental roles and the three have many scenes together. There is a deleted scene in which Hana calls Michonne 'mom' by accident.

* Hana's first crush was to a boy named 'Jisung' which is a reference to Stray Kids' Han.

* Although Hana has mentioned a crush to 'Jisung' and in a relationship with Taeyang, her sexuality has never been discussed.

* It is 100% canon that Hana had a crush on Maggie when they first met.

* Martinez calls Taeyang 'sunshine' before the attack. It is canon that Martinez knows what his name means and saw the sun on the letter from Hana, but he also wanted them to get out so he didn't tell the Governor.

* Hana was meant to kill Negan earlier on.

* Hana has a love for water and the ocean, but she had a moment of hating it after Shane died although it was never mentioned.

* Negan is referenced by Deanna when she tells Hana that Hana should name her bat.

* Multiple endings were played around with but Maggie, Hershel, Taeyang, and Daniel were always meant to live.

* My favorite pair to write for was Hana and Daryl but due to them being in different spaces a lot of time, there wasn't as much between them as I wanted there to be.
