Soo-Young's POV

"I can't believe he did it for real. You should have seen his expression; he was faking it!" I yelled fiercely as I kicked the trash can with both fists clenched into a fist.

"Don't be concerned; it won't be that bad. Thus we only have less than an hour left." Ga-Ram assured me nonchalantly, and Ye-Ri nodded, agreeing with him.

"He's got a plan, Mr Byum, and he's about to come up with an idea." Ji-Yun expressed concern since we all know what Mr Lee is capable of.

"Soo-Young ah, just relax." Soo-Ah took a big breath and murmured, clutching my shoulders, as I'm in wrath right now.

"Okay, I'll relax! Second thought: I can't because it's driving me insane!" I exhaled for a second, then grasped my hair in irritation because I'm sure he'd do everything simply to cover it up.

"Soo-Young, you'll do great. I have faith in you." Chief clasped my shoulder, instilling confidence in me, and I lowered my head low, second-guessing myself.

Mr Lee approached us before I could finish my sentence...

"I still can't believe you did that detective." I rolled my eyes as he clutched his chest, feeling betrayed.

"You buffoons should be locked up." I just stated that while crossing my arms and giving him a phoney grin.

"Well, I have my own methods. Your facts cannot back me up, kid." He laughed like a lunatic, and it killed my ears to hear him laugh like way. He definitely needs to chill down.

"I assumed you needed a break because you weren't feeling well. Is everything all right with you now, or did you shit on your pants or something?" I questioned him innocently while purposefully gazing at his back and giving him a sly grin to irritate him.

They couldn't stop themselves from laughing...

"You're being quite irritating right now." As he approached me, he gave me a death stare and rolled his shoulders.

"Your existence bugs me." I fired back, scoffing and clicking my tongue while tightening my jaw.

"You do speak a lot. You are no match for me since you are frail." He grinned and snickered, and this old man is really sexist.

"Ahjussi, I'm going to crush you. Don't even try to put my patience to the test." I murmured melodically, but deep inside I was boiling with rage, and I was ready to beat him right now.

"Ji-Hoon ah, take Soo-Young away; I'll deal with this man." My chief instructed Ji-Hoon because he knew I was about to burst at any time.

"I'm not going to let you go!" I yelled at Mr Lee, and Ji-Hoon took me out from there right away.

Officer Song's POV

I knew she was going to beat him up fairly soon, so I told Ji-Hoon to get her out of here or she'd lose the trial...

"What is your new strategy, Mr Lee?" I questioned him, folding my arms and narrowing my gaze at him.

"I can't believe you showed up after all these years! You're certain she'll take me down effortlessly. That is not going to happen!" He said it maliciously, which irritated me because he was crawling on my skin.
