4th February 2013
Tomorrow the other members would come home again. Yesterday I had taken care of Hoseok all day. Today he felt a little better.

We wanted to watch a K-drama later. But now I had to go shopping first. Because we had nothing more to eat.

It was eleven o'clock. That means the shops had already been open for 3 hours.

I walked along the asphalt. Our dorm wasn't far to the grocery store. It was cold and very windy outside. I liked the weather. The most people used to love warm weather. I liked rain and cold weather.

I was now walking towards a bridge. There weren't many people here. Most of them were already at work and the children on vacation were probably still asleep or just at home. There was only one boy leaning against the railing of the bridge. I guessed he was 16 years old. He took off his shoes.

But it was cold. Why would he do that? Suddenly he propped himself up on the railing and leaned forward very far. Too far! I immediately understood what he was doing. He wanted to jump off the bridge. I ran up to him and told him to stop. I tugged at his black jacket and tried to pull him off the edge of the bridge.

Me: Please oppa. Please stop it ... oppaa~

I almost cried. I was scared he would actually jump off the bridge.

He stopped struggling against me and sank to the floor while his hands gripped my jacket tightly. I went down with him and hugged him.

I felt sorry for him. He wanted to commit suicide. I was glad I stopped him. But the fact that he was thinking so negatively made me sad.

He hugged me back.

He cried for a few minutes. I also had tears in my eyes. I didn't want him to feel that way. I wished I could take all the pain of him that he was feeling.

Me: You shouldn't be doing this. You shouldn't think that way oppa. Please.

My voice cracked.

The thought that he could be one of the members or a close friend broke my heart.

I got his shoes and put them in front of him.

Me: Oppa put those back on, it's cold.

As soon as he put them on, I pulled him with me. He followed me. He seemed like he didn't care what happened. He just let it happen.

I lead him to a bench and we both sat down.

Me: Oppa? What did you think you were doing?

Boy: I'm sorry.

Me: Ani ani. It's fine. It's not your fault. May I know your name?

Donghae: My name is Donghae.

Me: Would you like to talk to me about it? You have all of my attention. I promise.

He sniffed.

Donghae: Thank you.

I smiled sadly.

He broke down in tears again.

Donghae: I'm just tired of all of this. I don't want any of this anymore. My parents work a lot and they don't care about me. School is very difficult for me right now. What if I fail the next school year? My father wants me to study at an university. I am tired. Do you understand?
