6th June 2015
Our first concert of the Red Bullet Tour. First World Tour. Lots of people. The Mega Star Arena was only for bts and army today. I was kinda nervous.
It was 10am and we were being driven to the arena. We would now train until 5 pm and prepare for the concert. The concert started at 7 pm.
I was better. I could walk normally again. Jungkook and I had just uploaded a selfie of the two of us on Twitter. The guys were a bit concerned and told me not to overdo it during practice and the concert.
I didn't want to overwork. Or at least I wouldn't do it on purpose. But it was something unique for our fans and for us. They had paid money and wanted a good time. I wanted it to be memorable for our fans. Everything had to be perfect. And we would do our best.
We arrived and walked towards the stage. Then we started stretching to avoid getting injuries or cramps. When I was done, I turned to my left. I was still sitting on the floor. A few meters next to me was Jimin. When he was done he looked up at me.
Jimin: Ready?
I nodded. He looked at the other members and then back at me.
Jimin: Are you nervous?
Me: A little. But I'm more excited than nervous. And you?
He nodded and smiled.
Jimin: Same for me.
Then he got up.
Jimin: Let's practice.
I nodded and got up as well. Now Hoseok Oppa would turn into a strict dance teacher again. Fortunately I didn't make many mistakes and he rarely scolded me in such situations. However, it was different with Namjoon, Jin and sometimes Tae and Yoongi.
We were all good at dancing. We were all talented. Also Namjoon and Jin. They just took longer to learn dances because they had no feeling for it. It just wasn't their forte and wasn't intentional. They were sometimes a bit stiff in their movements. But in the end they didn't audition for dancing back then, but for rap or singing. That didn't mean they were bad at dancing. After all, it was not without reason that they had been chosen as idols out of hundreds of other trainees.
Still, it was frustrating at times. Sometimes we practiced a dance for several hours because one of the members kept making the same mistake. Sometimes we got into a fight because of it. It was the same today.
Jimin was stressed and annoyed with Tae stepping into his position over and over again.
Jimin was a perfectionist and therefore wanted the performance and the entire concert to be perfect, especially himself. It was the last song and unfortunately Tae was struggling on that part.
We decided to take a break first. Jimin was a little bit harsh on his soulmate. Tae had a very special and different perspective. He was also a bit stubborn. Just like Jimin. But you could see how much he hated to argue. He looked kind of sad.
The others had gone. I was alone with him. Frustration was written all over his face. He crouched down and stared at the floor. I moved to him.
Me: Want to practice with me?
Tae: Your break?
I shook my head. As if I would just walk away now.
Me: Come on. Stand up.
He got up and looked at me and I started to explain where the mistake was.
Me: When you turn here you always go slightly to the lef.
