For @littlesnowflake234 ;)

Fire was gushing out everywhere to the trees, to the outer walls, around the entire area of the Fire Lord's house. Flashes of heated blue and red flames swired around each other until they would die out and other flames would take their place.

Zuko and you went to go stop Azula when she threatened Zuko to a duel. He accepted and you stayed far behind, because he told you too and because the flames that were erupting out of Azula's and Zuko's hands were bigger than normal.

The fire slowly diminished and both Azula and Zuko stood there still combat position ready. Azula looked tired and mental; he hair hanged onto her face cut in an uneven line. Zuko was tired, you could tell, but he didn't show it; he stood strong and inhaled sharp breaths.

"What's the matter; no lighting this time? Afraid I'll redirect it?" Zuko shouted to his sister.

"Oh, I'll show you lighting!" Azula puffed.

You ran out of the cover you were hiding behind but still stood a fair distance away from the both of them. You were scared for Zuko, you knew he was trying to enrage Azula, but you also knew that he could defeat her.

Azula stretched her arm out towards the sky, her pointer finger and her middle finger raised up, and collected an amount of lighting so big you thought a thunderstorm was happening in one area. She moved it around her and pointed it towards Zuko, who took a deep breath in and readied himself, but suddenly you saw Azula move her fingers and they weren't pointed at Zuko, they were pointed at you.

You hadn't enough time to take in what was happening before Azula aimed and fired her lighting towards you. You could feel the electricity already gussing through your veins but then you heard Zuko screaming and running in front of you, protecting you from the lighting but getting hit by it at the same time.

"Zuko!!" You scream.

Zuko tumbles to the ground, fidgeting and shaking from the bolt of lighting flowing through his body. You felt tears sting your eyes and you run over to where Zuko lay.

Before reaching him you could hear Azula laughing and land between you and Zuko. You haulted and began to run away from Azula, who was already hot on your trail.

Like Sokka and Suki, you were of the some who had no elements. You were just a normal person who was skilled with the sword. But a sword couldn't face lighting, and you couldn't face Azula alone.

You jump and turn away from Azula's fire being shot at you and manage to roll to the side making Azula pass you without noticing your direct change in destination. This also gave you the time to run to the side of the outer walls, grabbing a torch that hung there, and holding it as a weapon.

You knew it wasn't going to do much but you had no other options available at this time. Azula spun and headed towards you with blue flames swirling at her finger tips. She shot a flame at you which you ducked, and when she began to spin around you to aim again, you used your torch to hit her directly at the jaw.

She stumbled faintly and haulted a few meters away from you still out of breath. She didn't say anything but you could see the blood dripping from the side of her chin. Azula gazed at it too and then looked at you with a maniacal laugh.

Suddenly she pushed both her hands at you releasing a multitude of flames gushing your way. You tried to roll away but got singed on your arm and leg. You whinced and held onto your now burnt arm in pain.

Azula laughed again and turned to face her brother who still lay on the ground shaking.

"Zuzu, you don't look so good!" She laughed.

"Neither do you!" You yelled at her, swinging the torch now against her head.

You hit her, and she felt the agonizing pain thump at her forehead. You then struck her again but under the jaw and her head tilted abruptly towards the sky. You would've used this opportunity to dig your sword into her belly, but you were without a sword and with a torch.

You knew you had hit her good, great even, now more blood gushed down her face and she even stopped moving for a moment. But a moment was all it took before she jumped at you and knocked you to the ground.

You thrashed underneath her, scratching and hitting her, trying to knock her off but she was strong. She began hitting at your head, then your throat, and then began striking you at your sides hitting your ribs.

You cried out in pain and moved one of your hands to try and grab the torch that dropped near the two of you. While Azula continued to hit you you tried to reach the torch. With final success you grabbed it and swung as hard as you could at Azula's head.

Azula fell backwards after the hit and layed on the ground movementless. You quickly checked to see if you had hit her so hard that you killed her, but you found a pulse and sighed.

You ran towards the verandah section that was next to where you were fighting Azula, tripping over the vents above the water, but standing up again and grabbing the chains that hung on the wall. You then ran back over to Azula and tied her hands together behind her back connected to a hook on the outer wall.

Once you checked that she was firmly tied, you used the breath left in you to run towards Zuko who still lay limp on the ground. You gently turned him over so that his back rest on the ground and you placed your hand on his cheek.

"Zuko...!" You cried.

"Thank you, (Y/N)." Zuko said weakly.

"I believe I should be the one thanking you."

You cried and Zuko weakly lifted his hand up to wipe your tears off of your cheek. You smiled and rested your head gently into his palm, placing your hand ontop of his. Zuko smiled at you and then slowly closed his eyes. His hand became dead weight in yours and you immediately checked Zuko's neck for a pulse.

"Zuko!" You cried, once you found nothing. "No, Zuko, please! I need you!"

"(Y/N)!" You suddenly hear shout out from behind you.

You turn around to see Katara, clearly just back from a battle from her fresh wounds, standing and looking worried.

"Katara! Help me!" You shout.

She immediately runs to you and kneels by your side.

"I- I can't find a pulse." You say shaking.

Katara bends some water from out her waterskin and it forms around her hands, which she places on Zuko's chest wound.

"What happened?" She asks.

"Azula hit Zuko with her lighting. He didn't have time to redirect it. It's all my fault." You say, voice shaking too.

"How is it your fault?"

"Azula aimed the lighting at me, not Zuko. He ran in front of me to protect me."

Katara nods and you can see that there are tears in her eyes as well. Zuko's wound is healed but you see no sign of life on him. Katara checks his neck for a pulse and applies water to his mouth, using her healing properties.

Katara suddenly stops and her arms droop by her sides.

"What? What is it? Can you save him?" You ask worried.

She just shakes her head and her tears fall down her cheeks. Yours does too and you sob on her shoulder, with her sobbing on yours.

"I've never had two girls cry over me before," you hear Zuko suddenly say.

You and Katara both turn to see Zuko awake and breathing.

"Zuko!" You smile and attack him with a hug.

He wraps his strong arm around you and nuzzles his face into your neck.

"I was so worried about you!"

"Don't worry," Zuko smiles, "I'm not going anywhere."
