For @littlesnowflake234 ;)

You snuggle up in your bed against the blankets covering you. It's winter now so you've stocked up your bed with blankets and pillows to keep you warm. Even a teddy bear, but you don't tell anyone you sleep with one.

With your eyes closed, you start to drift off into sleep. You've always loved sleeping. Not because you get rest or anything like that, but because sleep allows you to escape reality and dream of things unimaginable.

As you sleep, your consciousness starts to create a dream for you; fluffy white clouds that you can cuddle with, cold wind blowing with the scent of vanilla, yummy milky white streams that you can dip into. It's a perfect place.

The streams of milk flow on forever. Ice cream ground boarders the stream with various colours and flavours. Chocolate, strawberry, banana, every kind! Mmm.

You're standing on a cookie boat with marshmellow cushion seats and choc chip footstools. One footstool has melted so you kneel down and start to eat the chocolate. In your dream, this peaceful place, you never get sick. You can eat as much as you want without getting a belly ache.

When you finish eating the chocolate your cookie boat stops by a waffle dock. You hop onto the dock and walk over to the ice cream ground where some giant pieces of cake are. You go to eat them as well when suddenly you get a shiver.

You can't possibly feel cold here, it's only a dream, so you turn around and there's a boy standing and looking at you. His hair is spikey and his clothes are dark in shades of blue and grey.

"Who are you?" He asks.

"Who are you?" You say, "I don't remember dreaming you up."

"Dreaming me up?"

He looks at you confused for a while before his eyes widen for a second.

"You're... a dreamer."

"A dreamer? I suppose I am, but I don't understand." You say, slightly confused, "This is my dream. What are you doing here? What am I saying... I'm talking to my imagination."

You put your hand on your forehead and sigh. Just dream him away and continue eating. You shake your hand in front of you and he disappears. You sigh in relief and turn around but he's there again.

"Ah!" You scream, jumping.

"You can't just get rid of me." He says.

"What? Yes I can; this is my dream. Go away!"

You walk foward and through him, he disappearing as you do so, but then you feel a hand on your shoulder and you jump again, turning around to see him once more.

"You can't get rid of me because I'm not someone you've dreamt up." He says.

"Then how can you be in my dream?" You ask.

"Simple. We're not in you're dream."

"What?"

He doesn't have time to respond before an alarm starts ringing and you open your eyes in real life. You sit up in your bed and turn your alarm clock off and sigh.

"It was just a dream," You breathe.

"Not quite."

"Ah!"

You jump as you see the same boy from your dream standing at the end of your bed.

"Hey, I'm Sharkboy." He raises his hand to you for you to shake.

You stare at him in fright. You thought he didn't exist! Maybe you're still dreaming...

You shut your eyes tightly.

"This is just a dream. When I open my eyes you'll be gone." You say.

After a moment you open your eyes to see no one in front of you. Thank goodness. You sigh and get out of bed, walking over to your bedroom door and opening it.

"Ah! Gosh, stop doing that!" You shout, as you see Sharkboy outside your bedroom door.

"I already told you that you can't get rid of me." He says.

"But you're not real, you can't be! I dreamt you up, that's all."

"Did you? I thought you said you don't remember dreaming about me."

You groan and walk over to your bedside table and open the top drawer, taking out a small journal and flicking through the pages.

It's your dream journal containing all the dreams you've ever had. If you have dreamt up this Sharkboy, then he'll be in your journal.

You slam the journal shut when you can't find him and look back up at Sharkboy.

"If I didn't dream you up then who did?" You ask.

"That isn't important now. What is, is that my home planet is going to be destroyed and you're the only one who can help me."

"Me? Why me??"

"Because you're the Daydreamer."

"The what-dreamer?"

"Daydreamer. You can dream things with your eyes open and help us save our world, Planet Drool."

"Us?" You ask, "Who's us?"

"Lavagirl and I."

"Who's Lavagirl?"

"Look, there's no time," Sharkboy says angrily, "just get in my Sharkcraft and let's go."

"What Sharkcraft?"

Sharkboy sighs and points outside your window. You look through the glass where a rocket in the shape of a shark is parked in your backyard.

"Will you help me?" Sharkboy asks.

"Yes." You say, "You look like you're telling the truth."

"Yes! Thank you!"

Sharkboy smiles and then kisses you on the cheek. As soon as he does so he pulls back and blushes.

"Uh, I, um, sorry." He says.

"T-that's ok." You smile.

Sharkboy nods and leaves your bedroom and you quickly get changed so you can go with him to save Planet Drool.
