"Love is selfless. The key is giving up yourself."

I could feel my foot slam against the cold cement floor and the slight shift of the air in front of me as I tore through them but my mind was too clouded to even register that I'm running. Glenn's hand shot up towards my forearm as he pulled me towards the right direction, aware that I'm still a thousand miles away.

Noah was at our back, looking behind to make sure there were no walkers that were becoming too close for comfort. Noah and I looked forward and my eyes widened as Nicholas wandered around wildly, blinded by fear and panic. He shot his gun a few times, the noise carrying throughout the empty building, the sound being amplified. As we rounded the corner, Nicholas has exited the rotating doors only to be greeted by walkers.

Walkers started spilling from in front of us and the hallway that we came from. I rotated between helping Glenn and Noah until Glenn's gun emptied. I pulled Noah by his shirt while he did the same to Glenn and pulled us all towards the rotating doors. I looked at the other side of the glass panel and furrowed my brows as I realised that Nicholas has done the same.

I steadied myself tight as I pushed the glass panel to keep it from rotating. But a close attempt of a bite on my fingers made me yap my hand back, shaking the doors slightly. Nicholas' eyes widened as he looked around him before his eyes settled on us. He wanted us to shoot our way past them since we still had our guns. But he failed to remember that he had our ammos and that in order to do what he has suggested, we had to let the glass break.

It's too risky.

Where the hell is Eugene and Tara?

"There has to be a way." Noah's quiet chant made my ear ping as I look down at him. He was on the floor with a faraway look on his face, the look that he always has when he's thinking deep. I pursed my lips together as I looked around the doors, looking for a loop hole. Something, anything.

A distant honk caught our attention as we craned our necks to see Eugene in a yellow truck, slapping the side of it to get the walkers' attention from us. It didn't take long for the walkers to slowly clear out and I couldn't help but laugh with Glenn and Noah. The familiar dubstep blared through the speakers and I can't believe I'm glad to hear it.

But we were still in hot water and so I tapped the glass and looked at Glenn, "We have to break the glass." I muttered, looking warily at the walkers behind us. Pushing through would endanger Nicholas and as much as I dislike him right now, he's not dying. He nodded at me before tapping the glass to get Nicholas' attention. He looked between us three, Noah, Nicholas and me, "Keep the door steady." he instructed to which we nodded to.

Still steadying the doors using our bodies, Glenn raised the gun and began to bash it against the glass door. With each bash he threw, the doors shifted an inch and I could feel my feet slipping from the ground. I opened my eyes when I heard Nicholas' frantic voice. He shook his head at us, "It's not gonna break!" he insisted, his eyes darting around wildly.
