"The beauty of love is that, you can fall into it with the most unexpected person at the most unexpected time."

- Ritu Ghatourey

Aliya and Daryl walked side by side as their eyes wandered around the Hilltop in awe. It felt like going through a time machine and suddenly they're back at camp. Some of the citizens of Hilltop lifted their heads and followed them with their eyes, curious.

"That's called the Barrington House."

At the sound of Jesus' voice, Aliya's head whipped towards the red-bricked house up front. Standing proudly in the centre of the Hilltop was the Barrington House. It was given to the state by the family that owned it and was then turned into a living history museum. Raking her eyes up and down the house, she couldn't help but imagine herself visiting this by herself before the world ended.

She would've been taking hella pictures for her social media accounts - the wholesome ones for the family group chat while the raunchy ones for her own brand. Daryl's eyes were set on Aliya as he watched her roam her eyes around with a charming spark in her eyes. She likes what she's seeing but is hiding it. He could tell.

Noticing his eyes on her, Aliya turned to look back at Daryl whose lips fluttered to a small smirk. Aliya smiled back and let Daryl pull her towards him, both still on alert towards their surroundings. "Those windows up there let us see for miles in every direction." Jesus' voice carried as he pointed towards the very generous amount of windows on the second floor.

It was perfect for security, Jesus says. The information was casually thrown but Aliya picked up on the slight warning in his voice - we will see you from miles away so it's best not to try anything. But they were no savages, the Hilltop has done nothing that will warrant their violence so they shouldn't worry about that.

Opening the door, Jesus looked back at them and ushered for them to come in the house. Once inside the threshold, their awe just doubled as their eyes took in the beautiful interior of the Barrington House. The grand staircase were definitely the asset as it made the whole space classy paired with the low-hanging chandelier.

"Good gracious, Ignatius." Abraham exhaled as he, too, were wrapped up in awe. As per Jesus, most of the rooms, even the ones that weren't bedrooms, were converted into living spaces for the residents. Maximising the space while keeping the residents' integrity does wonders to a community's morale. "There's babies being born." Jesus informed them with a smile.

Aliya's brow lifted in intrigue at the thought of multiple babies in a community. Judith could possibly have her own clique one day and she couldn't be more happy with that. The door towards their left clicked open, making them all jump and turn towards it. "Jesus. You're back. With guests." the man muttered the latter as he took them all in.
