Hi everyone! I have a lot of new readers/followers since OBX3 has been released. Thank you SO much for checking out my story. Every single view and comment and vote mean the absolute world to me and I appreciate y'all more than you know. I've noticed multiple comments throughout the story regarding some details, and I just want to address them here ◡̈
1. I've been writing stories/fanfics for a little over ten years now. This is the first story I ever published for the public to read, so please go easy on me with my writing style. You'll notice the main character, Mallory, has a really bad stutter within the first few chapters - I did this to make her seem nervous and anxious bc I know when I get that way, I can't talk right. I know it's annoying, but please push through it as it goes away as the story goes on ◡̈
2. I started writing this story a little before season 2 of OBX was released (July 30th, 2021), so the timeline of the story ideally starts a couple of weeks after that
3. There is a song mentioned in chapter fifteen - at the time of writing this story (almost two years ago) that song was really popular and one of my favorites. Every time I listened to it, I thought of Drew, so I wanted to use it in this story. You can ignore it or imagine a different song ◡̈
4. I fully expect y'all to imagine Mallory differently than I do. The person I imagined her as to play her character is someone I thought was a good fit at the time. Feel free to think of whoever you want for Mallory's character!!

Mallory is a 23 year old college student from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is in her last semester of college, where she will be spending the entire semester completing an internship full time to count towards her remaining college credits. She has always had an interest in the entertainment industry and she loves making her own videos. She loves writing and creating her own content, and her dream is to become a successful filmmaker. She moves to Los Angeles, California by herself to accomplish her goal of working for a major film company as an intern.

Drew is a 27 year old actor, most commonly known for his antagonist role in the hit Netflix series Outer Banks. He is a talented, hard-working actor who surrounds himself with a group of people who support his career. He currently lives in Los Angeles, California in the same apartment complex with his closest friends, the cast of Outer Banks. Though Drew is very work-oriented, his social life is very important to him as well. He spends a lot of time with his friends, nearly everyday, as they only live down the hall or up/down a floor from each other.
