Bennett | Kiss The Bad Luck Away

"Ow, ow, ow...!"

You put your basket of berries down upon hearing the familiar voice. As usual, your unlucky boyfriend is experiencing yet another unlucky event. What it is this time around... you're uncertain.

"Let's see what happened this time..." you say under your breath, heading to the source of the groaning.

You peer around a large boulder and spot Bennett sitting on the ground, his bandaged legs spread out. He's currently rubbing at his head, an evident frown present on his face.

"Benny," you call out, crouching down to examine his injured state.

The old bandages you put on his legs from a few days ago are already starting to tear away due to the countless times he has fallen. Simply looking at him pains you, and you wish there is another way to help him out aside from the simple bandaging.

"I sorta fell again... except, this time a pretty big rock bonked me on the head out of nowhere!" He demonstrates the unfortunate event by knocking the top of his head with a closed fist. You hold his fist gently.

Looking at his head, you can see a small bump; it's obvious the bump will gradually become larger over the next few days. A chaste kiss is placed on his head shortly after. Although he has a grin on, you know he can get frustrated at his unluckiness at times. Hopefully the kiss can soothe his emotions albeit a little bit.

"W-Woah! You kissed me..." Bennett murmurs, touching the place where you kissed him. His green eyes are gazing into yours as he continues to stare at you with widened eyes. His face flushes pink.

"Feel any better?" you ask hopefully. Knowing him, he'll likely answer with a simple "yes" and go back to what he was doing. For him to suddenly grab your hands and lean really close to you, your faces so close that your noses are touching, is not what you expected at all.

Flustered, you can only stare at him in surprise.

"More kisses, please!" he exclaims without hesitation. "Like... right here!" He points to his cheek and beams. You can't say no to his excitement.

You kiss him on his warm cheek, causing an adorable laugh to pass his lips. As expected, the one cheek kiss leads to even more kisses: one on the forehead, one on the nose, and one on the hand. By now, you're holding onto his face firmly while kisses are being planted all over his smiling face.

"How many more kisses are we going for here, huh?" you tease, amusement sparkling in your eyes. Bennett's smile only widens in response as he puts his hands on top of yours, squeezing them a bit.

He rests his forehead against yours, and closing his eyes, he whispers, "You're not forgetting about my lips on purpose, are you?"

You're met with his passionate, green eyes shortly after he whispers the question. The way he's gazing at you so intently, unblinking, is making your heart soar.

"Of course not," you reply with a smile, "I was waiting for you to ask me."

"Heh, I should've asked earlier then."

This time around, your boyfriend is the first to initiate the kiss. His gentleness and warmth clouds your fuzzy mind and makes your body feel tingly. One of his bandaged hands drop down to grip onto your waist, holding you closer.

He moves away from you a bit, his lips hovering over yours as he stares at you in a daze. The hand that's still on top of yours moves to stroke your face in a slow manner. As the rustling leaves blow in the wind gently, your focus is solely on the male and the way he glows under the sunlight.

"Hey... can we kiss one more time?" he murmurs.
