"Hey, so," Flavio appeared in the dining room as he sat down next to me. "What do you think—"
"—Bad." I cut him off, sipping my coffee that Lorenzo had made for me.
"You didn't even listen to what I had to say." Flavio deadpanned and I shrugged.
"Didn't need to." I smiled sarcastically and he slapped me upside the head, making my mouth drop open. "Bitch... I could've spilled my coffee, god damn." I sighed as I placed the cup down, rolling my eyes.
"Now, listen," He demanded and I sighed again, which made him cut his eyes at me. "If in the next — I don't know — two years, neither of us is married..." Yeah, I know where this is going. "We should marry each other, I've decided that I do not want to lead a single life with no kids so you are my back up plan." He smiled and I looked at him like he was crazy, Lorenzo stopping his cooking as he looked up at us.
"Enzo, you have two fucking seconds to get the hell away from her," Lorenzo pointed the knife at him. "Otherwise, I'm going to cut your dick off and stick it on your big ass forehead." I bit down on my bottom lip as Flavio sniggered.
"Pretty gay if you ask me." He winked at Lorenzo and I raised a brow.
"Only for you, baby." Lorenzo winked back at him and I cringed, ah, my best friend and my boyfriend.
"You two are disgusting." Alec happened to walk in just then but stopped and walked back out.
I did a double take as I watched my brother walk out. "Since when has Alec been here?" I honestly don't even know who stays here now. It's like not even my house at this point, I'm running a damn hostel.
"Came over last night, was very drunk." Flavio told me as he jerked a brow as he told me and I just sighed.
"Not kidding, Flavio, get the hell away from my girl or I'll fucking gut you." My girl.
I felt a swarm of butterflies in my guts, the cup pressed against my bottom lip as I concealed my smile.
"Fuck off, D'Agostino, ruining my back up plan." Excuse me.
"Fuck you." Now it was my turn to slap him upside the head.
"That's right, baby," Lorenzo cheered me on. "Hit him one more time." Why wouldn't I listen to my man? So I did, slapping Flavio on his back. "That's my girl." Ugh, butterflies.
"Y'all have problems," Flavio gripped my ear, twisting my ear a little and I yelped, grabbing his wrist. I didn't even slap him hard, it was a tap. "You used to be team Flavio, look at you backing your man all of a sudden." Flavio teased me, shaking my head and I groaned, pulling his hand away.
"Dick." I muttered once I got his hand off me, rubbing my ear as I frowned.
"Ow!" Flavio yelled and I looked back at him to see a wooden spatula on the table; Lorenzo had flung that at him, hitting Flavio right in the chest. Pretty good aim.
"Next time," Lorenzo smirked as he kept chopping away. "It'll be a knife." I smirked and Flavio sniggered, crossing his arms as he huffed.
"Yo, when's breakfast?" Gus rushed in, all sweaty with only a pair of black Nike shorts on.
"Now," Lorenzo told him. "Grab a seat, call your friends, I'll make you all coffee," Lorenzo turned around as he turned on the coffee machine. "And wash your hands!" He yelled so Gus would hear after he had rushed out.
