THE SEX CLINIC WAS BACK ON AND ALICE WAS IN CHARGE OF MONEY HANDLING WHILE MAEVE WAS IN CHARGE OF BOOKING AND OTIS THE ACTUAL THERAPY. Alice had practically begged to get out of it but Otis insisted that they needed her, Maeve's silence in that conversation saying more than he did, and that he wanted to try and fix their relationship and this was a way for him to spend more time with her. Alice eventually agreed so that he would leave her alone when she was with her friends.

Alice was at the school by 7:30 this morning, music blaring through her headphones as she walked through the hallways. "What are you listening to today, dickhead?" She heard the lovely Maeve question when her headphones were pulled off as soon as she reached the lockers Maeve was waiting against. This seemed to be routine for them and it had happened so many times now that it no longer annoyed Alice. "Sløtface?" She asked as she held the headphones to her ear. "You're actually listening to them?"

"You did write me a list of songs and told me you'd shove it down my throat if I told anyone about it," Alice reminded, a smile making its way to her face as Maeve placed the headphones back on Alice. Maeve was close enough for Alice to smell the cigarette smoke lingering on her jacket but Alice didn't mind. She liked that smell. "Pitted is my favourite one from them so far but all their songs are amazing. Ah, and..." Alice pulled out the book she recently checked out of the library from her bag, holding it up for Maeve to see. "To the lighthouse, Virginia Woolf. I listened. Though Little Women is still the superior book."
