ALICE BLEW OUT THE SMOKE, BLUNT IN HAND AS SHE SPRAWLED ACROSS THE CHAIR OUTSIDE EDDIE'S CARAVAN. Alice had tried to stop, she really did, but she only lasted eight hours. The urges got too much especially when night came around and Eddie was no longer awake to stop her.
As much as everyone would hate Alice for doing this, she hated herself more. Alice already knew she was being a shitty person so what more did she have to lose? She couldn't think of a single thing. She knew that if it came down to this, Johnny would pick Stella over her any day so she didn't care anymore about it, or anything really.
"Alright, dickhead?" Alice hummed when Maeve took the seat beside her, turning to face her. She was wearing Alice's blue jacket which, normally, would've made the older girl happy but she couldn't bring herself to care at that moment. "So you're getting high now, huh?"
"You changed your hair," she realised. "That's a shame, I liked the unicorn hair."
"You didn't answer my question."
"I have been for weeks, you just haven't been in my life to notice," Alice muttered, turning away from Maeve to look up at the stars lighting up the night sky. That was one of the two things she loved about Moordale. With it being mostly greenery―the second thing she loves about the town―there wasn't much pollution so she always had a clear view of the stars and the sky.
