A/N: Heyyy, we hit #1 on the postmalone tag again. 🥴 Also, I may or may not have accidentally not updated for 2 weeks in a row. My b.

I was awake before Austin once again. There had been hype over a large snow storm rolling into Salt Lake all week, and the flurries had finally arrived.

I curled up on the living room couch and watched the sparkly snow fall to the ground. As a child, snow days meant no school and plenty of time for outdoor activities. Now a snow day meant I could curl up with a certain tattooed man that I called my husband, and I wasn't complaining.

Ivory would be here in a few days so these few moments with out family or friends celebrating the upcoming holidays were far and few in between. Austin had been selected to perform in New York City on New Year's Eve, so that was another trip thrown into the mix of things.

Tennessee Christmas by Brandon Lay was quietly playing in the background. The Apple Music playlist Modern Country Christmas was my pick of background music. It reminded me of Christmas growing up in South Dakota. Sure, my family had its problems, but Christmas was one of the few times a year that things seemed alright.

Truthfully, I was home sick. I missed Ivory and her family. They essentially adopted me as their own once Ivory and I graduated high school. I was right there with them at every holiday meal. I missed Ivory's dad calling me his "bonus kiddo."

I hadn't realized that I was crying until I felt the hot tears rolling down my cheeks. I quickly swatted them away. I felt silly crying over something so simple. I knew that they loved me, and this was exciting new stage in my life. Austin promised that we could go back and visit whenever I wanted, but it was hard to not miss it.

I needed Austin's touch to get me back into a good mood. He really is the rock that I needed in my life, and I'm grateful for him everyday.

I pulled the blanket I had on my lap off and I quietly crept my way to our bedroom. Enchi trotted after me, curious of what I was up to. I pushed our bedroom door open quietly and found Austin curled up under the comforter. I made my way over to bed and crawled in as well. Enchi ran up the stairs that Austin had gotten for the end of the bed. He curled up right at our feet.

Some of Austin's curls had fallen into his face and I reached out to brush them out of the way. My lips found their way to the tip of his nose and placed a gentle kiss to it.

"Good morning." Austin said groggily.

"Good morning, baby." I said quietly.

"It snowing yet?" Austin asked.

"It started to a little bit ago. It's quite pretty, but I think we'll be stuck inside all day." I said.

"Then get over here so I can cuddle the shit out of you." Austin mumbled.

"Or we can turn the big fire place on in the living room and I'll make breakfast, then we can watch all of the lovey dovey Christmas movies." I offered.

"Cinnamon rolls and egg bake?" Austin mumbled while popping an eye open.

"Whatever you want, bubs. Let me spoil you for once." I said with a smile.

"You spoil me everyday just with your presence, baby." Austin smirked.

"Such a charmer. Let's get you up cuddled into that big ass couch downstairs." I said.

Austin reluctantly rolled out of bed and scooped up Enchi. He wandered into the closet for a moment and reemerged wearing a pair of sweatpants and a long sleeved Maison No. 9 shirt.
