#9 Jimin's Apology

{This is just an additional chapter for SeongMin (seongrin and jimin) shippers😁
If you don't wanna read, you can definitely skip reading this chapter, I am uploading the next one along with this one...so yeah... ;) }

-SEONGRIN POV-

Its been a week since he ruined my diary... I tried drying it with the hair dryer and now the pages are stiff and everything I wrote in it has bled and merged so nothing is readable now.

I have been skipping school since then... I don't wanna face him anymore. I don't know why but he reminds me of dad.

How he always used to ruin or throw everything that mom had left. The diary was the only thing I could save... And he did the honours.

I walked upto my window to get some fresh air and huh... He's coming again. I don't know why he comes here everyday?

Who asked him to apologize? And that dumbass brings roses. What am I? His Girlfriend? Duh. I rolled my eyes and went back inside.

I helped grandma and cleaned the living room. By the time I came back to my room, it had started to rain. And in a few minutes it was pouring heavily.

I closed the window and laid on the bed. As soon as I picked up my phone I heard Grandma shout. I ran downstairs to see what happened and she was standing at the door.

"Omo who are you poor child?" she asked sounding worried. I walked upto her to see who was she talking to and to my surprise it was Jimin.

He was all drenched in rain water and was shivering badly. My grandmother offered him to come inside but he refused and she asked me to insist him to come inside since he told her he was my 'friend'.

"I think you should come inside and dry yourself and then go back home." I said coldly with absolutely no expressions. "Are you sure that I can come inside?" he asked and I just hummed.

He came inside and I gave him my oversized grey t-shirt and sweatpants and to my surprise, they fit him perfectly. Ok not perfectly, the pants were a bit tight.

We walked downstairs and he was about to leave when grandma came out of the kitchen. "Wait! Where are you going? It's still raining outside, you'll catch a cold if you go now" she said sounding worried.

"I gave him the umbrella, grandma." I told her and she looked at me disappointed. "What's wrong with you Rin-ah? Why are you not asking him to stay?" she asked.

-JIMIN POV-

I could clearly sense that Seongrin didn't want me to stay any longer but her grandmother insisted. I would've left but this was my only chance to apologize to her for what I did.

In school, either her friends won't let me talk to her or mine won't spare me for a minute.

"Uh its nothing granny! We've school tomorrow, he must be sleepy!" she said signalling me to say something. "Its ok I'll leave in a while" I replied with a gentle smile and she glared.

*Time Skip*

Her grandmother made us some hot chocolate and went to sleep. We were sitting on the kitchen counter and sipping slowly onto our mugs.

"I am sorry for what I did" I started and she was about to get up but I held her wrist and she sat back. "Please don't start with this... Just finish your drink and get lost" she replied very coldly.

"Please Seongrin! Just listen to me! At least let me clear myself and then rest is upto you" I said and this time she stayed quiet so I spoke up again.

"I know what I did was wrong. But I didn't know that it was that important. I would've never done that if I knew-" "And if that wasn't important to me then what you did would've been considered right?" she shouted.

"See Seongrin let me be honest... I have always been insecure about my height... And you've been always mentioning it since the first day I stepped in this school" this time I could see her expressions getting changed to a guilty one.

"I didn't know that  its your insecurity... Sorry for what I did" She whispered. "Then lets forgive each other this time?" I asked and she smiled.

I don't know why but my heart skipped a beat when I saw that beautiful smile. We talked for a while and I am glad that now we are kinda on good terms with each other.
