After about five minutes, his breathing finally stabilised and he looked straight into my eyes,, our foreheads still rested against each other's.
I was about move back when suddenly put his hands on the back of my head and pulled me back like before.
"Stay" he whispered and I couldn't convince myself to go against him so I stayed there like he wanted me to be.
I closed my eyes, feeling his presence too close to me. Sniffing on his scent and then I remembered.... It's the same fragrance... It's definitely him... It's V.
I was floating in my thoughts when I felt his grip on my head loosening so I opened my eyes, slowly moving backwards, but as soon as I was about an inch Or two away from him, I felt a hand on my waist.
Before I could process what was going on, he smashed his lips on mine and kissed me aggressively. Within a minute the aggression turned into passionate one and I never knew how much I was desperate to have his lips on mine.
That kiss... It was a deep, intense one... full of passion and love. Our lips moved so perfectly against each other, so much in sync that I never wanted it to end, if that was possible.
-TAEHYUNG POV-
I don't know why but I couldn't help but kiss her. At that moment, it was the only thing that felt right to me. I wanted her... to be mine.
I kissed her and to my surprise, she replied to it in an instant. The sudden heat in the atmosphere had so many emotions invading me. I never knew how much I wanted her... never knew how much she meant to me.
After sometime we parted from each other, both of us breathing heavily trying to catch our breaths.
-ASHLEY POV-
I had my left palm on my chest and was trying to catch my breath which I had holding all this while when suddenly he pulled me into his embrace.
Both of us were still taking long breaths until my head hit his chest and I heard his heart beating so fast. I slowly moved my head to look at him and he was already looking at me... emotionally.
"I am sorry" He said in a low voice while a tear rolled down his left cheek. I slowly separated myself from him to sit up straight and he just lowered his head.
-TAEHYUNG POV-
I thought that she didn't accept my apology as she moved away from me. I didn't stop her this time... I let her go.
I was sitting their with my head hanging low when she suddenly cupped my face in her small, soft hands and made me look up.
"Shhh it's fine" she said while wiping my tear and pulled me into a hug. I couldn't help but let it all out in front of her.
All that I have been keeping to myself All that I have never shared with anyone All that has been always eating me inside, killing me inside All that has been making me suffer all this while I told her everything that day...
-ASHLEY POV-
"My mom..." he started with a shaky voice. "You don't have to say it if you don't want to" I said and he pulled back from me, holding my hands.
"But I want to say it, I want you to know" he said and then paused for a minute to calm himself down, wiping his tears on his sleeve and then continued.
"I was only three... My mom and I were going to the supermarket that day... We were very happy, singing and chanting our favorite songs while my mom was driving with me sitting beside her... Out of nowhere a car came and it was about to hit my side but my mom..." I could feel his voice breaking there as he tried hard not to cry.
I had nothing to say so I just gently squeezed his hand and he looked at me and continued "...she turned sharply and that car hit mom's side... The lady stopped and came out to help... My mom was groaning in pain and I couldn't do anything but cry seeing her like that..." he had started crying by now.
" 'Don't worry she'll be fine... I'll be back with the help... I promise I'll be back' this is what she said... But she never came back... neither did mom come back" he finished and looked at me.
-TAEHYUNG POV-
I looked at her and she looked shock. Her right hand made it's way upto her mouth and she looked terrified all of a sudden.
"W-what happened?" I asked and she opened her mouth to speak but closed it again, gulping hesitantly. "I-if you see her again... Will you be able to recognise her?" She asked out of nowhere and I nodded.
"Of course I will... I remember her so well... I will never forget that face" I replied and she quickly started searching for her phone.
"But why did you ask" I asked but she didn't reply as she was busy doing something in her phone. She suddenly stopped scrolling and looked at me.
"Is this her...?" she said turning her phone's screen towards me and it was a picture of a lady holding a baby in herhand. I looked carefully and it was 'her'.
But how did she have her photo?
I looked at Ashley and nodded and she closed her eyes pursing her lips while a tear left her eye.
"But-" I started but was cut in the middle when she said "It's my mom"
