A Beautiful Mistake

Chapter Twenty Nine

Jennie's official training starts today, Lisa is training her hand in hand. The training starts at waking up earlier than usual. "Jennie! Wake up" Lisa couldn't be soft on her, how will she learn if she treats her wife like a baby.

"5 minutes" Jennie pulled back the sheets that Lisa pulled. "No, stand up, now, or I'll throw you in the bath tub" Jennie couldn't help but be frustrated, she groaned as she sat up and slowly opening her eyes as they adjust to the light inside the room. She saw Lisa giving her a poker face.

"bath, now!" Lisa spoke again, Jennie couldn't help but roll her eyes, She wanted to sleep more. "10 minutes, I'll time you, if you won't be out in 10 minutes, I'll come in and drag you out" Jennie's eyes widened and covered herself with the sheets.

Jennie was afraid that Lisa might barge in and break the door, so she finished at exactly 10 minutes. Now they're on their way to the basement. Jennie was surprised when she knew this place existed.

"Woah, I never knew this place existed" Jennie said in amusement. "we'll start with the basics" Lisa led Jennie into a work out room. She wanted to know how strong she is. She let Jennie do some weight lifting, and she was never this disappointed. "What are you? 5? what can you carry with this arm?" she tried to squish Jennie's arm, the lady just pouted. "I don't work out, I'm naturally slim" she boasted, as if it will make Lisa proud. "Oh god I am starting from the very beginning" Lisa said as she placed her palm on her face. Jennie couldn't help but smile.

"We'll start you with boxing session every morning for one hour and thirty minutes, then we'll start you with combat fighting" Jennie's eyes widened. She's been wanting to learn how to learn to fight.

"I'm tired" that is Jennie crying out loud because she's been running on the treadmill endlessly. "5 minutes more" Lisa said looking at her watch. Jennie groaned in frustration, sweats are dripping from her neck and all the parts of her body. She's exhausted and this could result to body pains the next day.

"After this you have to do some arm workout" Jennie's eyes widened when she heard Lisa's words. "I'm too tired" she complained again but Lisa didn't mind. If she wants to be with them she has to be strong.

Training for today was over, Jennie took another cold shower, hoping not to feel the consequence of today's workout. "Are you going to the office?" She asked Lisa who's in the kitchen. 

"Nope, I'm going to the headquarters, are you coming?" Lisa casually asked, Jennie froze, as she remembers what happened the last time she was there. Lisa was curious of the silence, she turned to Jennie. "Why don't you go shopping, I'll ask Jackson to accompany you, buy whatever you want, or buy the whole store, up to you, just to take your mind off things" Jennie looked at Lisa and shook her head. 

"I'll come with you" Jennie said, it surprised Lisa but she was happy that Jennie took the courage to visit the place. 

Everyone bowed down as the two ladies work their way to the training room. As soon as the doors opened, everyone stopped with what their doing and bowed down to the two ladies as a respect. "Miss!" Jackson came in running towards their direction. "Have you seen Dara and Irene?" Lisa asked, "They're in the shooting room Miss, they're actually waiting for you, Rosé mentioned you'll drop by" Lisa just nodded and proceeded their way to the shooting room. Jennie was just silently following her wife, and didn't bother asking questions. 

As soon as the shooting room door opened, Irene and Dara stopped with what they were doing and greeted the couple. "Lisa, Jennie!" Dara exclaimed in excitement as she ran towards the two and gave Jennie a hug, she wanted to give Lisa too but the lady glared at her. Dara and Irene are best friends, and they enjoy doing missions together, Dara is the joyful one, like Rosé and Irene is the strict, serious one, like Lisa. 

"Lisa, Jennie" Irene greeted the two with a simple nod. "This is Irene, and Dara, they're my best assets when it comes to shooting guns, I will have them train you in a week." Jennie's eyes widened, she never thought of using guns, and she never held one. 

"But--" Jennie was about to protest when Rosé barged in. "We have a problem" 

"How did this happened? do we have a mole inside?" Irene asked, the ladies, Jennie, Lisa, Rosé, Irene, and Dara are inside the meeting room, the frustration on Lisa's face was obvious. 

"We need to find out who the mole is!" Dara spoke, which everyone agreed. "No one knows about the mission aside from  team" everyone agreed with what Irene said. 

"Call Jackson" Lisa spoke, anger was evident. "How much was taken last night?" She asked, it was mentioned awhile ago, but she was too angry to process the amount. "20 Billion Lis" Rosé spoke. 

Jennie's eyes widened, "20 billion?" her voice went a pitch higher than the usual. Dara and Irene nodded. "You have that kind of money?" Jennie asked, she was so surprised. "Jennie, that's just a small portion of her wealth" Dara said. 

Jennie knew Lisa was rich, but not madly rich. I never knew that she was this rich, we she showed me the vault, I didn't know it was billions. 

"Money is not the issue here" Lisa spoke, everyone gets it apart from Jennie. "Not the issue?" She asked in disbelief. 

"Honey, you married the richest lady" Irene said, which made Dara giggle. "Stop with it already, let's focus on the problem here" Rosé said out of annoyance. Jennie and Rosé still has this silent awkward line between the two. 

"Miss? you called for me?" Jackson went inside and closed the door. Before he could come any closer, Lisa threw a punch on his face. he was as surprised as everyone in the room.

"Jackson, I am so done with you messing up my business" another punch hit the man's face, and now he's bleeding. 

"I didn--" Jackson wasn't able to finish his sentence when Lisa's fist hit his face again. "Lisa!" Jennie shouted, yet Lisa didn't hear anything. Lisa was about to throw another punch when Jennie spoke again, and this time, louder. "LISA! ENOUGH!" Jennie walked towards Lisa and went in between her wife and Jackson. "Enough" Jackson was on the floor, and Dara helped him stand up.

"Miss, I- I didn't do anything" he tried to talk but the pain was just too much, it caused him to stutter. 

"Lisa, calm down" Jennie dragged Lisa to a room next to where the others was. "Jennie, I hate when someone betray's me, I don't care about the money, just don't betray me" Lisa said, almost breaking the glass she was holding. 

"Okay, calm down, let Jackson explain, okay? let's be reasonable here" No one has ever dared to talk to Lisa in this way, no has calmed her down when she's angry. If she's angry, no one can stop her, but now, it seems like Jennie can. 

Lisa took a deep breath before returning. When she went back to the room, Jackson was no longer there. "Jackson turned the mission to Bobby's team before he was able to tell his team" Rosé spoke. 

After long day, Jennie and Lisa were able to go home without bullets anywhere near Lisa's body, and she didn't plant any bullet on anybody. "Am I training tomorrow?" Jennie asked. "Yes, but with Rosé, she agree's to train you, I have matters to attend to Jen, I won't be around the whole day tomorrow" Jennie just nodded and proceeded to her room

She though tomorrow with Rosé would be challenging, them not talking burdens her but she cannot force the lady to treat her like before, and she understands, Lisa is like a sister to her, Jennie knew that. 

The next day, 

Lisa left early, after she woke up Jennie for her training with Rosé, she then left. She didn't tell anyone where she's going, this is something she's been working on since the beginning. 

"Meet me at the usual place"
