SOMEONE'S POV

Looking at may side, Nakita kong tumutunog ang aking private business phone kaya agad ko iyung sinagot. Switching in on to loud speaker so I can hear it while I'm working.

"Speak" I shortly said. Still eyes on my laptop as I type a different serial of numbers and process all the documents and information I'm getting.

"Boss. The girl we've been looking for was already out of the country kaya hindi na namin sya matract dito. It's been almost four years since ng umalis sya ng Pilipinas. Nahagip sya ng ilang CCTV cameras ng airport and nag match ito sa mga picture na binigay mo even though they are blurry. Registered name Jailyn Veho. She went on America exact May 4, 2017" The man in the other line said. Agad naman akong napatigil sa ginagawa ko, at kunot nuong napatingin sa aking private phone. And pausing what I'm doing on my laptop ay agad ko iyung dinampot.

"And your just telling me that now? After almost four years your just telling me that now? What have you been doing to take this long to inform me about this?" I blankly said. I was annoyed but I know I need to refrain myself dahil walang matutulong yun.

Tsk... America. So all this time she's here in America? It's just the same country I am in and living with for goodness sake. Bakit ngayun lang nila to nireport sa akin? How reliable of then to inform me this late.  

"Sorry for the late notice Boss. Someone is hiding her information and almost her existence. They are blocking us. But somehow the group manage to get a little information, and as of now she's confirmed in America. The last time where she's been spotted was in the hotie salon and five star hotel in Ottawa." He reasoned out, as he give me much more details of the current search. Naging seryoso lang naman ang expression ko dun.

Blocking us huh... I wonder why would this people we're blocking and trying to hide her from us...

"What else have you found out? Jailyn Veho, Is that her real name?" I ask. But still analyzing what he just said. Hindi parin naman maalis ang kunot sa nuo ko, kaya nag pasya akong tumayo at dumungaw from my window to think much properly.

What's clear now is she's here in America. But we can't say for sure kung andito parin sya since it's been almost four years. Hindi rin sure kung Jailyn Veho rin ang ginamit nyang name to register here in America if she did stay. It's easy to fake names nowadays.

"I already background checked the name, Jailyn Veho. But it's seems that it's not her real name Boss. Walang nag match na name na tulad ng Jailyn Veho sa lahat ng data base na hawak ng government ng America. Hindi narin namin sya matract down for everything is already dead end Boss" He answered firmly, rinig ko rin ang ingay ng mga pagta-type nya sa kabilang linya, so I presume his still looking for information till now.

Damn... This is going to take much longer that I thought. And whoever this person, who's been hiding her information from us, is surely good. It's been almost four years since this searching went on but parang mas lumalayo kami sa mga leads.

"Try looking in the near countries, and report immediately to me. Make sure to call for good news Drikus" I commanded. Narinig ko lang naman itong magbuntong hininga.

"Bakit ba hinahanap mo ang babae na to Boss? May importante ba syang bagay na hawak laban sayo? to find her this eagerly?" The jerk ask. I just clicked my tounge as rolled my eye in annoyance.

"That's not your field to know Drikus. Just do your work" I said with a done discussion tone of voice. Not wanting for him to ask so many questions as if I'm some kind of criminal for interrogation.

"Ok, ok. Geezz your being so serious Boss" by that he totally end the call, Kaya napatitig lang ako sa phone ko.

I sighed, after a while.
