JAZLYN'S POV

Walking down through out the hallway of the house, i leaded Mathew and Vivory toward the kitchen.

"Waaah!? Ang daming foods!" Narinig kong bulalas ni Vivory. Nauna na itong tumakbo papuntang lamesa.

I just chuckled.

Nilingon ko si Mathew and he was frowning too. Siguro ay naguguluhan ito sa inaakto ko. At kung bakit ang daming pagkain.

"W-what's the occasion..?" He tensely asked me. Being really careful around me.

Nginitian ko sya.

"What's wrong? Walang occasion, Mathew. Is it bad na mag luto ako for your arrival? Nawala ka ng ilang buwan. This is us, just welcoming you back." Nilapitan ko sya at tinulungan syang hubarin ang coat nya, which is he obliviously obliged.

"Jazlyn—"

"Let's eat first. You must be hungry, at alam kong hindi ka nakakain ng maayos sa byahe, ganun din sa work place mo. Pumayat ka, Mathew... Didn't i told you... Anyway, let's eat, foods are getting cold. Niluto ko lahat ng favorite mo ngayun." Hinila ko na sya papuntang lamesa at pinaupo sa tabi ni Vivory.

He seems so out of it, but just go with the flow anyway. Hinayaan nya akong paghainan sya ng pag kain, ganun din naman kay Vivory na may sarili nang mundo.

Napailing nalang ako.

I watched them both eat. But my eyes are specifically focused on Mathew. I watched him closely as he take his first bite of the food. At napansin agad nya yun..

He met my stares. He seems pleased and happy na kasama nya kami, but not so certain on what to think toward me. Specially after what happened. Alam kong nakapag report narin sa kanya si Ganhan.

He knows everything.

"What? Did you put poison in my food..?" He asked. His voice sounded as if his joking, but his expression said the otherwise. His so serious while looking at me. As if testing the water, if it's too hot or not.

My eyes glint something incomprehensible. I reach my hand out for him and wipe something in his side lip.

"No. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to do so earlier. Kain ka pa... Don't be distracted." Kalmadong sagot ko sa kanya. Sinalubong ang mga tingin ng mata nya.

His expression seems so complex, but sighed afterward and gave me a soft smile. Babawiin ko na nga sana ang kamay ko but hinawakan nya yun and feel it in his cheeks.

"I missed your cooking. Thank you for cooking to me tonight, Amur... I'm finally home" He said. Tila pagod at nag lalambing sa akin.

I cares his cheeks for a moment but agad ko naring iyung binawi not so long after.

"We missed you too, Mathew..."

"Yes. Sobrang miss, Dada! Say ah Dada! Susubuan kita! Ahhh..."

"Ahh... Hmm, sarap. Thank you butterfly"

The dinner went smoothly. It was calm and peaceful. Like the happy family we are.

"She must be tired whole day, hindi sya makapag intay sayo ng mabanggit ko sa kanya na uuwi ka ngayun." Marahang sabi ko kay Mathew as he put down Vivory in her bed. Nakatulog ito after naming mag dinner ng asa sala na kami kanina.

"Hmm...She's a very sweet girl." Mathew commented. Caressing Vivory's cheeks for a moment.

Nag iwas ako ng tingin sa kanila.
