Chapter Nine

SOMEONE'S POV

"How was the situation over there?" I ask calmly over the line as I watch everything from the higher part of the crew ship. I timidly smile and humm without any rumours

All the people on the crew ship was in chaos. They look so stupid as they scream in fear. How pathetic... Wealth really is dumb.

"They're on the move LV, wanted me to distract them more?" The man from the other line responded. I can hear his excitement but shrugged it off for I have other plans.

"This is fine. Just get the Head Mistress for me" I commanded. He just chuckled because of that but say nothing more and hang-up the phone. I just stared at my phone for a while before totally throwing it to the cold and dark water of the sea beneath us.

"I don't intend to use you Head Mistress... but after digging for years. I know you can be use for my plan. I hope you don't mind... I'm sure it will not take long for someone is looking after you... I'm a little jealous though..." I whispered to the cold breeze but it really never chills me. It was actually so relaxing that I almost forgot why I am here. But nevertheless I'm not in hurry.

My brows furrowed slightly when that name flashes into my mind. I just gritted my teeth dahil iyun ang tunay nadahilan kung bakit ako andito. To lure him out but I know it's not that easy. He was smart and very instinctive. I have been observing him for almost all of my life... But his not really that easy to know. It irritates me but I know I need to be patient and wait for the perfect time.

What's happening today is just a test and as expected he isn't shaken up. Of course. Hindi na ako mag tataka if he already expected this... His so calm and didn't even flinch because of the change of plan earlier. He is confident but I'm not going to make it easy for him. He even encourage my challenge so why not give him a beautiful show? I don't intend to be rude so I'll entertain them with a long and quick blow. I know he has his limitations and temper so I need to play my cards right

"I'm always one step ahead"

JAZLYN'S POV

Nakapikit lang ako habang tahimik lang na nakasandal sa pader na katabi ko. It's been almost like two hours since ng ikulong ako ng mga lalaking iyun dito sa madilim na silid na ito and I really never shifted position and never even try moving dahil hindi ko kaya. I'm too tired kaya kahit napaka disturbing ng atmosphere dito ay tiniis ko nalang dahil mas makakabuti naman ito sa akin. I just need to wait for someone to come and get me, and if I'm lucky enough ay baka maging sila Master Lucas pa mismo iyun.

Hindi naman ako natitinag sa katahimikan kahit hindi ako comfortable dito dahil may magagaang ingay akong naririnig sa taas. Screams if I'm not mistaken, so I really presume na nag kakagulo na nga talaga sa labas.

Naiisip ko palang kung ano ang mga posibleng senaryo sa labas ay napapalunok ako sa kaba at takot as I tried opening my eyes para mendyo kalmahin ang isip ko but hindi talaga nakakatulong ang pag mumulat ko dahil lagi nalang akong hinaharap ng kadiliman. Feeling ko kase ay may kung sinong aatake sa akin sa likod ng mga dilim na ito and it's not really helping my situation to get at least better.

As time past ay ang kaba at takot ko sa aking dibdib ay parang mas lumalala lang, so I really tried my best pushing my negative thoughts away. Pero sa kabila ng iyun ay malakas parin ang pakiramdam ko sa aking paligid kahit alam kong mag isa lang naman ako dito sa madilim na lugar na ito. But I can be fooled, alright. Hindi ko nga namalayan na may kasama pala ako kanina sa Cr dahil kahit anong pakiramdam ko that time ay wala talaga akong masense na presensya ng kahit na sino, so I can't let my guards down.
